Well the first time, you can't blame the people for not knowing what Brownback had in store... This time, the people are to blame for re-electing a guy who just finished a term of absolutely destroying Kansas. Why are people so stupid? Juggs I know this race has little national impact, but it means a lot to Kansas and just proves how blindly people will vote. When given the choice of vote against your party or vote for the guy who just destroyed your economy, they still couldn't go against their party. Well, the governor is the executive authority in the State, but you can't pretend that he alone destroyed your economy. That reductionism is kind of silly. It's like blaming Obama for the federal budget deficit. There's the legislators to blame, his predecessor, the federal government, Obama, local reps, business owners, consumers making bad decisions, wall street etc. You are right that he isn't the only person to blame, but he absolutely holds the majority of the responsibility for what's happened in Kansas. He pushed for tax cuts for the wealthy. He told everyone that he wanted to prove that trickle down economics would work. His policies did more damage to the economy than any other factor. All of the surrounding states had far more success over the past few years, all operating under the same federal government and Wall Street. And it's hard to believe that the local population in one state is all that different from neighbouring states. Brownback and his administration are the catalyst in the equation.

That's awful. The worst part about it is that people who would have preferred to hide their sexual orientation given the lack of protection against such discrimination were finally able to come out when they were granted protection under the law. Now people can't "go back in" now that the law is gone. So, as the article says, it can be open season for anti-LGBT people to discriminate against anyone they want to. Congratulations Kansas on voting in this dipshit for another term, after he already threw your economy down the drain. What a stupid group of majority voters. I wish the intelligent people in Kansas would come out and vote in great numbers.
