Exactly, not even half way thru the season and all of these closet cowgirl fans predicting a sb for lil d. Hello! Philly only has one loss also!. The Chargers, Pats, chefs, and Colts could easily supplant the broncs.
no,they wont,nope, will not,aint happening
The Ravens made the super bowl two seasons ago supplanting Andrew Luck, Tom Brady and Peyton Manning three in a row. The Green Bay Packers won a super bowl. Even if the NFL were rigged towards big market teams, you obviously can't guarantee anything this way just based on recent memory.

The NFL's rigged huh? Super Bowls since 2000: Small Market teams: New England 3x, Tampa Bay 1x, Pittsburgh 2x, Indinapolis 1x, New Orleans 1x, Green Bay (the smallest) 1x, Baltimore 1x, Seattle 1x Large Market teams: New York 2x The NFL ain't rigged for for merchandise sales. If it were, the Jets, Giants, Dolphins, Bears, Cardinals, Eagles, Redskins, and the team from Los Angeles (OH WAIT LOL) would all have won championships and formed dynastyies. Not a single one of them has been consistently good, and only the Giants pulled off Super Bowls. It's impossible to disprove a negative, and that's what you're asking us to do, but all the evidence suggests that small market teams have a very good change. I'm not taking sides on whether it's rigged or not, but I do find it interesting sometimes how things "just happen to work out" the way they do. I can see how things appear to be rigged sometimes. NE and Baltimore aren't small market teams. Pittsburgh and Green Bay are historic teams in the league and had won previously (before the East-Coast/Big Market thing became an issue) so I wouldn't think those teams winning (or the league rigging the thing for those teams) wouldn't necessarily be the same, though some might say the league would want their historic teams winning more often, too, so I guess that could go either way. The league WANTED New Orleans to win the season they did because of the story (or the contrived story) that was being shoved down the public's throat. Sure they earned it, they were the best team, but the league loves stories also, and New Orleans was a story (if you believe in that kinda thing). The main thing is that the NFL is not like baseball, where a big market team would have a bigger chance to win (although it doesn't always happen) due to the way each sport is set up for teams to make $$$. The smaller market teams in baseball have a smaller margin of error than the teams in bigger markets and need to be more creative. In the NFL the teams are more closely balanced, again, due to the revenue structure in the league. The NFL is more like NASCAR in that respect, where everyone's "supposed" to be playing under the same rules for building their team.

who said there had to be one dimensional reasoning ? the Ravens had a new owner and an aging linebacker retiring and out of no where SF is winning games ( with an 8 game starting QB) And its magically brother vs brother coached teams.
super bowls are rewards to owners or players or what ever. SF didn't start winning till they announced a new stadium was being built. next year they will host a super bowl and the team will lose games next season. that's why the Harbaugh vs management story is being invented

You really think that the NFL is rigging all their games for different story lines? You don't think every team is going to have at least a few good story lines every year? A player with a dying family member winning just before they die, two brothers or cousins or something playing against each other. A guy who lived a tough life, overcoming all odds to win a Superbowl, a rookie who stepped up when no one thought he could... There are stories everywhere... the NFL doesn't have to create them.

You guys are falling for his trap. Did anyone click my 2nd link? He's a notorious troll.
He intentionally ignored my post, just like I expected. He does this on his other threads when people talk sense/aren't irritated by him and give him an opportunity to explain himself. He literally only responds to those whom he can incite. His dick gets hard off this shit.
Ban him.

In the NFL the teams are more closely balanced, again, due to the revenue structure in the league. The NFL is more like NASCAR in that respect, where everyone's "supposed" to be playing under the same rules for building their team. I've thought for a very long time that some things have happened in the NFL that seemed entirely way too coincidental and looked like part of a storyline. The New England PATRIOTS winning the Superbowl the year of 9/11...and reaching the Superbowl on some ridiculous, antiquated rule that no one knew about. I have SO much I want to say, with so many supporting arguments, but all in all, I don't directly believe the NFL is rigged, nor do I believe that Vegas odds makers have some kind of sway with the way games turn out. I guess I'd have to say I'm on the fence. The Patriots have had a million things go their way in the past decade and a half that only Patriots fans would cluelessly defend as being "conicidence," while everyone else knows Belicheck and Brady can just wink at a ref and get a flag, or get the league to overlook something. I'll shut up, because the Patriots aren't the only entity in which I think controversial decisions have been made about. Again, I DON'T believe the NFL is predetermined like matches in the WWE. The NFL would simply lose all credibility if it was a sham. There are, however, a lot of discrepancies when it comes to officiating and important decisions. No tin hat for me though.

you simply over look the impossible odds it takes for 2 brothers to coach against each other when only one has been around 2 years and the fact that they are only winning shortly after starting to build a new stadium.

So are you actually a fan of the NFL? Do you actually enjoy football or do you just spend your time trying to turn other people off from what you believe is a sham?
