That's probably partly because you won't let me. As evidenced by you not responding seriously anytime I post to you. I thought I had in the past. Never gotten anywhere. Im really trying to be a better person in here, but its kinda hard to do that when I see whats posted to me. Maybe I dont belong here. Maybe I just cant relate to some of you. After all I stand out like a sore thumb in here. Iam very opinionated,I speak my mind, just a good ol redneck in Texas. Nobody else here like me. I dont conform to the popular opinion just because I want people to like me or to feel good about myself. But when I get chastised for this and that, and see noone else does except maybe Craig and Eddie, then I really have to wonder if I belong here. I know people dont like me,and thats okay...but when I cant even hardly post in here without some kind of confrontation..then I really dont see any recourse but to either just come here and read, maybe post a video or two tell a joke or 3 and call it a day. You belong here as much as anyone else. I like your posts and we need a red neck from Texas. We need ya. Your just a good ole boy and I still want to come to Texas some day. I think you should not take some things so personal. Who cares if others attack? The place would not be the same without ya. This thread shows that if Peyton is on your team you love him and he basically can do no wrong. If he is not on your team you look at him a little different. It's just the way it is. We all are a little bit Homer.

You are fine, Jeff. There isn't anybody who doesn't belong here. I'm not saying this to be mean, I promise, but I think you need to grow a little bit thicker skin. You say that you can't post without a confrontation or getting chastised, but I've seen it happen numerous times where the person who responds to you isn't saying anything mean at all, but you interpret that as them being mean. And then the arguments start. I don't think people respond to you any different than they do other posters. Just try and look at other people's posts in a more light-hearted manner is what I would suggest. My thick skin is fine...Its thicker than anyones here...but I thought we were playing by house rules? Im trying to play by house rules here. Either we are or we arent. Now if we arent ,then tell me so,that way I can respond like I want to. I simply posted a topic that I had an opinion on. I didnt need the extra baggage. Only Jindred once and Bev had a reasonable response. I have tried really hard not to offend anyone here and not attack anyone...yet its been done to me 5 or 6 times in this thread. Sorry...call it like I see it.

If they don't care for you, you don't lose anything if you don't talk to them. Just don't let it get to you, and most importantly, keep sharing your opinion. Don't be a fake Jeff.

lol I understand that you're torn. You want to find a way to blame Peyton for this, but you understand that logically it would just be plain stupid to blame someone for wanting to celebrate a major accomplishment in a very minor and slightly humorous way. You guys think I hate Peyton way more than I actually do. I actually find it funny that someone else made this thread, because I wouldnt have bothered. Still that was a game changing, maybe season changing non-call. No way we can guarantee Denver wins that game if the correct call is made. At first I wasn't going to respond to any of your BS...but then I saw this. Season changing? I know you're trolling, but that's f**king ridiculous. At worst it's a 15 yard penalty enforced on the kick-off. Worst-case scenario, 49ers return a kick for a TD. Now, after that, Broncos probably would have continued to put up points, but no, you need EXTRA convincing. Worst-case scenario once again, 49ers win the game. It's not season altering if we lose one game. Was the blowout loss to the Chiefs by the Patriots season altering? No, I'm sure they'll finish at the top of the weak AFC North as always. No way an excessive celebration penalty alters a season.

The local sports talk here is talking a lot about the NFL bias towards Manning. They think the NFL hates the Spanos and tries to make it hard on the Chargers and easier on the Broncos to win the division. (don't shoot the messenger here Bronco fans, I'm just telling what they say). They schedule the Chargers to go to Oakland after the Raiders bye, then the Chiefs come after their bye, then we go to Denver on a short week. All division games. They say the NFL would never schedule the Manning/Broncos to play away from home on a short week. And we have to do it every year. Has the Manning/Broncos ever played a road game on Thursday? I don't know that answer, maybe you could help me with that. Not to mention they have modified the amount of contact defensive backs can have with receivers on two different occasions for Peyton. FOR PEYTON? The hypocrisy here is deafening. So you're saying all the offensive rule changes have been with him in mind? No other team in the league benefits from the offensive emphasis? The first time they decided to "emphasize" the rules that were already in place was after NE won SB 36 over the Rams, when the "physical" nature of the game made the difference (see: clutching and grabbing). That wasn't for Peyton was it? Unless he was playing for the Rams at the time, I don't think it was. I could be wrong but I could have sworn it was Kurt Warner there. They changed the "hitting the QB at the knee" rule - aka the Tom Brady rule - for Peyton too, huh? Well, of course they did. It's supposed to apply to everyone unless you're the visiting QB at Gillette (see: Geno Smith last week). Nobody thought a whole lot about that until Tom went down for the season, and that was a few years AFTER it happened to Carson Palmer in a playoff game, but I guess he's not Tom... You can complain all you want (and you do) but isn't it funny that the only time NE has had a game in DENVER it was last year's playoffs? This will mark the third consecutive year the Broncos have had to play IN New England during the regular season. Not since Tim Tebow was the QB here did Tom and his bunch come here short of the playoffs. And you think everything is loaded for Peyton?!?! Let's be real here. Tom and Bill get as much consideration as ANYONE in the league. Don't act like it's not the case.

So you think it is just some strange coincidence that the rules are changed after Peyton loses in the AFC Championship and then the Superbowl? They actually changed that rule the year before Brady hurt his knee, but nice attempt. Take it up with the NFL, scheduling rules havent changed anytime recently. I could careless about them.

Just for the record the AFC East was tied for the second most wins out of any conference last season, and the AFC East is currently tied for second this season. But yeah second is really weak. I wasnt even trying to get a response out of you, but yeah that is apparently too easy. lol

No. It was his leg. 2005 playoffs.
