I know this is a yahoo.com article so take it with a grain of salt, but it is an interview with Blake Griffin on Derek Jeter's The Players' Tribune who described one of Donald Sterling's annual "White Parties" when he was first Drafted, where he said everyone wore white and all the decorations were white. It is actually pretty disturbing. I mean sure, you could say it was a fashion choice, but with Sterling's recent racist behaviors now in the public eye, you cannot help but think there was a different motive behind it. finance.yahoo.com/news/blake-griffin-describes-awkward-party-182117338.html

So Donald Sterling is a four hundred year old racist. Let him die in peace. You can't change him. Why try?
Signed his silly Rabbit.

I'm pretty sure that's just a common theme. I've saw something similar to that in Toronto. Plus if you google white dinner, you'll probably see a couple of images all across Europe. Looks pretty cool if you ask me.

IMO reading way to much into this.. Like Ace said there are lots of all white party's out there.. Sounds bad if you take it racially, but its just clothing... Would have been worse if he forced the black people to dye their skin, or to not come at all

I actually don't think that has anything do with racism and that it's coincidental. I mean, Sterling is a racist no doubt but I wouldn't read into that JUST because people wore white. I mean, Griffin is half black and he was invited so what does that say right?

He was pretty much shown around like a poodle at a dog show.

If I was who ever the Timberwolves owner is, I'd be stupid to not brag about Wiggins with every opportunity I have. We all brag about our new toys to anyone that will listen, it just happens that these billionaires have some of the best young athletes as their brand new toy.
