'I must be missing something' Yahoo IDP, PPR, WRT and QWRT flex, redraft. So, 2 weeks into the season, she offers me Cooks and Cruz for my D-Jax and Golden Tate. Seemed fairly even since RG3 was already out, and didn't see Cousins making the most of Mr. Deep Threat. She's a little trade happy, so what the hell, make her day, I accept. So.... perennially healthy Calvin Johnson has been nursing a high ankle sprain since week 3, so Tate is naturally the primary beneficiary. He & D-Jax have about 100 pts each thus far. Cooks has 71 pts w/the bye, a rookie, so not complaining - a couple fewer PPG than Tate & D-Jax . Fast forward to this morning. She offered me Blake Effing Bortles for Cooks. Oh, she's got Romo and Brees. I got Flacco, Tanny, and Glennon - not great, but is Bortles an improvement over ANY of these?! So I sent her this, tried to keep it simple, cuz I was almost speechless anyway... "Didn't you trade me Cooks and Cruz, and I only got Cooks left?!? lol Thanks, but I have enough crappy QBs. I gave you D-Jax and Tate, who each have 100 pts. Don't ya think you owe me a decent offer? lol" She's been with me for 6 seasons. Ya gotta laugh, right? I almost countered with a Cooks for Brees, but was in 'just gtfo' mode.

My favorite offer was by someone on this board...his ARod and Decker for my Peyton Manning and Eddie Lacy. Yeah, that'll happen...

Anyway, my trade 'offeress' is not a member here. Was just taken aback knowing she HAD TO REMEMBER offering me Cooks and Cruz, and that I was now in dire straights (lucky to be 3-3, and now Cruz gone), while she was 4-2, and been benefiting from the 2 guys I traded her.

Had a trade snafu in my money league last week. I got Ed (Hazardous guy) in that league. He's not doing so good and I'm doing okay. He wanted Torrey Smith last week and I had Brees on bye with no backup. Ed also wanted to pick up Hoyer so he traded me Dalton for Smith. I would only use Dalton one week. The league members blew up. Saying I was trying to pull a fast one and my phone started ringing. BS CRAIG BS. So I got mad. I cancelled the trade and picked up Hoyer. I played Hoyer and Torrey and Steve Smith. (we get big bonus for over 50yd TDs). I told my opponent who was squealing like a little girl about the trade that I would pound him with Torrey.
Haha Hoyer outscored Dalton in that league and Torrey had two TD's in the first quarter. I did pound him. Only problem now is Ed is mad. Sometimes trades go by vision not past performance.
Oh yeah and I left Jordon Cameron on the bench for Donnell. Hoyer to Cameron for a 51 yard TD.
What pissed me off is them calling and questioning my integrity. They could have just voted against it. We have member voting.

Craig, if anyone was getting screwed in that deal, it would've been the guy that made you the offer, right? Dalton > Torrey, don't care what your settings are. Funny how people question your integrity, must be rampant in money leagues. lol

Actually Ed wanted Steve Smith. Or Torrey and Jordon Cameron. I would not budge on either as I have Brees and only need a QB for one week. Ed needs a WR bad. And he had his QB on Bye. So Dalton was only a bye week for both of us. I'm glad I didn't do it. It's a fourteen team league. WR are at a premium especial big play ones. Ed felt Torrey was going to break out with some big plays. 11 pt bonus for over 50 yards.
So finally he accepted the deal. It was no collusion at all. But the other players couldn't see that I was getting a one week guy, while Ed was getting a WR he liked. And I even pointed out that even though Torrey hadn't done so good, he has out scored Calvin Johnson (except first week), Andre Johnson. Cordello Patterson (all three my sons WRs)
Also Torrey Smith leads the league in deep targets and PI penalties because of it. If they stop interfering he has great potential in a bonus laden league. I'm glad I still have him and didn't trade him
I have vision and the rest of the league wears bifocals. haha

Ya I can see where they thought the trade was lopsided. So vote against it. But when you look at it from both of our teams. It helped us both. And that is what trades are for. Dalton is a bye week guy for both of us. And Ed likes to have a QB and WR on the same team. He likes Those 50 yard TD passes from his QB to his guy. 22 point bonus.

Bye the way Dalton is ranked 19th in that league and Torrey went from 62nd to 36th in one week. That's called Vision. I'm glad I didn't get rid of him.

I have Brees and only need a QB for one week. Hmmmm. Quite frankly, you might wanna think about QB weekly matchups here-- even with Brees. I've run with Stafford every week in our NFFL league and I'm 0-6. I'm seriously thinking about picking up Hoyer and starting him against JAX over my "top 5" QB draft pick.
