As much as I like Todd Gurley I think at this point I'd rather Sammy Coates or a CB over him.. Lamar Miller is showing off impressively so far this season, and if Moreno is healthy (big if) we are pretty set at RB. Complete 180 from what I was thinking at the start of the year.
Right now Miami is leading the league in drops, Gibson is playing like shit, Mathews is playing like shit, Wallace and Hartline are playing fairly mediocre at the moment, and Landry Shows promise..
At CB we are either old or mediocre..
LB is another place of concern as right now the only guy I have any faith in is Jenkins and thats only cause he has played lights out the past two games, otherwise he is totally unproven. Wheeler sucks, Ellerbe is out for the season and was bad last year, Misi is a total wildcard, and the rest of our guys are unproven.
Also if there is a great TE available wouldn't be sad if we took one. Clay is playing well below his level last year..

good to know. MarchingOn you really think that if Ogbeuhi, who some people have going #1 wouldn't be a huge upgrade? I mean I think that Armstead is good enough to start but if you can draft a rookie that will go for 15 years go for it.

He looks like a legitimate left tackle of the future. Why couldn't Armstead play that long? He's only 23, and just as athletic, if not more so, than any tackle in the last (and probably even this) draft class. The combine results prove that.

With the way Eli has been playing, I agree, I don't see the Giants going QB next year. When Eli has had time to throw, he has excelled in the new offense (He has completed 70% of his passes the past 2 weeks).I think OL is definitely the #1 need for the Giants at this point in time. They certainly CAN use help on the DL, but with Pierre-Paul playing at a pro-bowl level again, and Damonte Moore making a big impact, I don't think it is a necessity.

Why you have the Colts taking a WR when they drafted Donte Moncrief in the last draft and have Da'Rick Rogers and Griff Whalen who are decent WRs

I think it has nothing to do with his performance. Eli is in a class of invincible qbs who will retire whenever they want. We're talking about a guy who has led the league in turnovers, started a season 0-6, there was the Vikings game... I just do my think there's any low Eli could hit to get fired. No 2x sb an has ever missed the hall... So far. Eli getting cut or benched isn't realistic, even if there's a chance that the giants could be better with the rook

Neither is Tom Brady or Eli. I'm obviously not counting people who are still playing. But every player who is ellgible who won two SBs made it. But I actually found an exception who is a very intersting piece of trivia: The only QB to win multiple SBs and not make the hall is Jim Plunkett.
