1st Round - Collins, S, Alabama - Like the pick. Not complaining at all. 2nd Round - Hunter, OLB, LSU - Again, nice pick. 3rd Round - Ekpre-Olomu, CB, Oregon - Really? Over Kevin Johnson(who I am amazed has fallen so far in your draft)? If he is there for the Steelers' pick, no way in h-e-double hockey sticks are we going to pass up on him. 4th Round - Drummond, S, Michigan State - We only need one Safety to be honest. Mitchell did well enough last year to keep his spot over any rookie. Give us Heuerman here, and it is a good pick. 5th Round - Sheppard, CB, Kansas - I would rather have another backup running back than double down on CB at this moment in time. Williams would be a nice developmental back with DeAngelo not too far away from retirement. 6th Round - Bousby, CB, Pittsburg State - Really another CB? 6th Round - CJ Uzomah, TE, Auburn - No complaints really. Depth at this point. 7th Round - Fubuluji, OG, Texas Christian - Again, depth, so no complaints. Haha I did not mean to give you JaCorey Shepard. I was expecting there would be mistakes because when I went to try to edit this, I pretty much realized checking over every pick would take longer than making it. I'll fix that when I get a minute, but it will change several picks below as well. Some teams will draft three at the same position, but it's stupid and usually doesn't work. Bousby is a specialist. I don't doubt that Mitchell will start this year week 1 (unless the steelers really wanted Holliman or Prewitt), but I've heard some really mixed opinions of him from Steelers fans and I think they want a long term replacement. My goals for the Steelers in this mock were to entirely retool the secondary and let them work with the talent they have in the front 7. I only gave them Hunter because he fell pretty far. I've also read everywhere the Steelers need a tight end, but I disagree. They've got three guys I like, which is why I took one late for them sort of out of compromise.

That's a good insight on Agholor. I took him because he was a good value there, but I kind of overlook the scheme fit for receivers sometimes, which I need to not do. I completely can't stand DGB. If this were a "juggs drafts for all 32 teams" mock, I wouldn't draft him at all. I don't think he's a good player, in addition to not playing college football last year, which is a borderline stock killing red flag by itself.

Then again Miami could be the first team ever to run a 4 slot receiver scheme

Well first of all, taking Harold wouldn't have anything to do with McKinney. They play totally different positions. Harold is purely an athletic pass rusher, where McKinney is a hard hitting inside linebacker who couldn't play on the outside because there he would have assignments with slot players. Not drafting Maxx Williams isn't about the Saints need at tight end, but instead about the value of the players you'd be comparing (McKinney v Williams) and that is a joke of a comparison. Williams is a reach at the end of the second, and he's only that high because the value only drops off a cliff after him at the position. I wouldn't say Sifrin is any kind of steal. I've actually seen him play personally, and I put him with New Orleans because he reminds me of Graham's basketball style play in the red zone. Blake Sims is flying totally under the radar, but he's not far at all behind Petty and Grayson in my book. He's certainly not going to play for a while though, it's just a pick to develop behind Brees. Same goes for Amos. It's not a need, but he's a good value there and could step in for Vaccaro and Byrd who both needed replacements at various times. The saints backups (Sunseri and Sanford) both are recovering from what people thought were career ending injuries, so they really need a healthy emergency guy. Agree to disagree about Maxx Williams' value. I'd be really happy with him in the 2nd. I don't think we even need a QB at all this draft. Brees has years left. Even still, I really disagree about Sims. You're forgetting about Rafael Bush. He's our 2nd string FS, not Sanford.

Yes there's Bush too, but I remember that the Saints nearly cut him because he had an attractive contract to get rid of. With all the restructures, there's still going to be hell next year, and he might be on the chopping block again.

I think my comment was too short and supperficial. Sorry for that.
The Colts could very well use a tackle because Cherilus has health issues and his backup Joe Reitz isn't very good. But they need a ILB more and Kendricks was still available (I'm a bit surprised he fell that far) because Jerrell Freeman took a huge step back and D'Qwell Jackson sucks.
I don't know why they traded up 4 spots to take a RB. It is a position that can wait. Frank Gore is good to go this year, Dan Herron is a nice #2 RB. However I wouldn't oppose a RB in the 5th.
I like the 3rd round pick and the rest are depth, so I can't argue there.
Anyway, good job for doing a 7 round mock. I've did one before and it takes a lot of time to research the positions and needs for each team.

As for the trade, the Ravens were going to take Tevin Coleman and the colts wanted him. And they didn't have to move up far to do it. I only do trades when they help me make a mock, since there's really no way to predict actual trades. I forgot they needed a rotational starter in the middle. I'll change that. Good feedback.
