He's not living off his mouth, he is a top quality CB, even when he has down games, he has what would be considered a decent game for most CBs and does so while being entirely on his own. The Seahawks don't have him switch sides because it is simply better strategy. There are substantive differences from playing right and left corner let alone outside or slot. If you have a moving CB they will play worse in a different position as will all the other defensive backs. I agree he's better than average, but not as good as the hype. The Seahawks defense is simple and they execute very well. But they are not unbeatable as we proved. We held the ball for over 42 minutes while rushing for about 100 yards. That is a passing clinic. Sherman said we didn't have any big plays against him. Well we had eleven yards when we needed ten for a first down. That was huge plays in my book. He shut down nothing. I think Revis is better but I think he's for sure in the top 3. Of course, they are not unbeatable, at least when they are not playing at their peak form (see last year's superbowl) When 5 catches for 55 yards and one key first down is being held up as evidence against you, you are pretty damn good.

I'm not sure it was one first down. I think Royal had a few also. My point is the hype caused Green Bay to never throw over there. They lost big time. We played our game and didn't hold him up like he was Jesus. Rivers said, "We aren't going to ignore that side of the field but we won't be stupid" And our strategy will be duplicated, I guarantee it. He's good but not so good that teams should not even think about throwing at him. Calvin Johnson for instance or A.J. Green should be able to have some success. It was a great game and I have not seen the Chargers that physical in a long time. Whooooot Whooooot. haha

Hope Donald Brown's up to it. The last time Sherman was on Megatron was in the red zone, and he was two steps off when Megatron dropped the pass unimpeded; Sherman didn't even have a chance to make a play on the ball. We get to see him on Demaryius next week; I look forward to Sherman getting exposed again.

Donald Brown is up to it. That is why he is here. Were good. If not better. I wonder if we signed Grice to the practice squad? I liked that guy better than "oh chit I cant think of his name. Our fourth guy"
He was good also in preseason.
Mathews is done here. His contract is up and he can't stay healthy. Bye bye, new guy up.

According to rotoworld, you did sign Marion Grice to the practice squad.

This win is so huge for our average at best defenses confidence! Starting to believe.

This win is so huge for our average at best defenses confidence! Starting to believe. I think next week is going to be a great gauge for the Redskins, both the offense and the defense has been decent or better for most of the game, there has been way too many massive mistakes. I do not at all expect to win, but if the offense and the defense play decent with exceptions of a few mistakes (I cannot imagine them cutting down on mistakes enough to win), it'll do a lot for my confidence in the team and the coaching staff moving forward.
