The Chargers aren't affected by the Bengals/Broncos game. Are you sure? Maybe not this week directly, but doesn't a Bengals loss make it that much easier for the for the Chargers to get in, meaning not as many things have to go their way next week? Cinci wins, isn't it possible for 3 from the AFC North to make it in? Not seeing the Bolts are a lock yet. [hey that's funny, bolts are a lock, get it? ar ar ar ar] They are 2-3 in their div, so they still need help, no? www.nfl.com/schedules/2014/REG17 - Okay, haven't done the math. Hey, most people's heads hurt trying to figure out what has to happen. lol

The Charger situation is easy. Win in KC and they are in. Lose and they are out. The only thing that can change is will they be fifth or sixth seed. We control our own destiny now.

Okay, was too busy focusing on the AFC N (thinking how can 3 teams get in with them playing each other, no way, thinking AFC E lol) to notice the SD/KC game. Q...Admitting my blind ignorance, but as is in week 17 with all teams playing their own division...was it always like that?!?

If SD loses and Baltimore wins and Cinci wins, we will have 3 AFCN teams. I think the Denver game only matters to Denver and Cinci fans. SD/KC has big wildcard implications. 2 or 3 years ago(I think 2) they changed the schedules to have all divisional games week 17. Trying to make sure week 17 matters more often.

KC could get in if they beat the Chargers (not going to happen) and a few others lose.

Trying to make sure week 17 matters more often. At least you play at home. Can't imagine who might even be favored with a healthy Charles. Yeah, last couple years it seemed there were more intra-divisional games week 17, but didn't notice til now it was every single game. EDIT: KC could get in if they beat the Chargers (not going to happen) and a few others lose. Okay, thought I'd heard it was gonna be a lot easier for SD than KC.

"He's a player on our roster. He's going to have every opportunity to compete next year." - Browns coach Mike Pettine, on how it's too early to write off Johnny Manziel.
Translation: "There goes another first-round draft pick."

Im gonna channel my inner Nateball. Just ignore this post. Gonna cuss alot and say a lot of things I don't mean, just fucking pissed and need to air this shit out. Fuck those fucking refs. What the fuck! Bell clearly fucking crossed the god damn goal line on the 2 point conversion but "Rodgers is gonna suck my dick after this game if I hand him the win, so I can't let the Lions get close and need to kill all momentum they just picked up." And when a player goes down with an injury the refs normally run over and wave on the training staff. Not when Rodgers goes down. They run over and kneel down and get right down next to him "Oh princess! Are you alright? Is your vagina hurting? Oh dear!" And let's make some fan fare by having Rodgers pretend to get hurt and later come out showing no problems, except for the one hurry up where he was running to the line limping like "oh yeah! I'm supposed to be hurt! Better limp a little to make sure everyone remembers how great I am! This will win me the MVP for sure!" Fuck! And did Suh step on Rodgers purposely? If it was on purpose that douches ankle would have broken. 300lbs coming down with malicious intent would have broken one of the weakest joints in the body. Fuck off.
Again...sorry. That game pissed me off.
