Didn't know that, but I'm excused - ya know how ignorant I am. Who was the kicker? Don't think the Eagles one upped you then. lol Yeah, he's a strange one anyway. haha Ain't we all. Janikowski their current kicker was drafted in the first round in the early 2000s. Honestly, I didn't know that. However, I was wondering how many times a team picked a kicker earlier than we did on Henry(4th round). Damn, if I was gonna pick a kicker in the first round, that mutherfucka' better be able to consistently bang em' in from like 60-65yards out. @jeffb2865- Cut em' some slack on this one. He actually educated me. I was too lazy to look it up myself earlier, lol.

Only one kicker (well, punter) was ever worth a first-rounder, and he FINALLY made it into the HoF...Ray Guy.

Janikowski their current kicker was drafted in the first round in the early 2000s. Shaun Alexander (really good Seattle RB, helped take them to the SB) was drafted 2 picks later. From Wiki..."Janikowski was drafted by the Oakland Raiders with the 17th overall pick in the 2000 NFL Draft.[6] He was the fourth placekicker in NFL history to be taken in the first round of the draft." Going into his 15th year, tying the record for longest kick until Prater broke it last year, missing one game over the last 12 seasons...I'd say it was actually one of their smarter moves. hehe @jeffb2865 - 'hehe' also used to denote backhanded compliments.
