"With all due respect to Rob, I'm glad he feels the way he does but in the end, we'll have to make the decision that we feel is best for the team and we'll do that as we go through the week."
Sounds exactly like last year. I'm glad I didn't draft Gronk again, as I did last season. I think this is going to be a recurring theme all year long.

Belichick has never came out and said a player is playing. Keeping a team guessing has always been part of his gameplan, and there is no benefit to just coming out and saying he is playing. If anything said more than he was allowed to say.
This is nothing close to last year. We are dealing with an ACL injury, which Gronk has had plenty of time to recover from. Last year Gronk was dealing with a broken forearm that he broke twice, and the second surgery was botched.
He has been a full participant in practice for the past 3 weeks now, and has been fully cleared for contact during that time. He has been cleared for football for the past 2 months actually.

Alright. I'm sure you know more than I do. Just sounds like last year all over again to me. I have a hard time believing he'll be able to play more than 10-12 games this season. Just a gut feeling though.

Just a gut feeling though. Injuries are never a good thing, but honestly I think this ACL tear is going to help him in the long run. Recovery from an ACL injury is pretty simple with modern day science, most players come back stronger. This gives his forearm plenty of time to heal however. Last year there really wasnt much talk of him playing week 1 at this point, that talk didnt really start till week 4 or so, but that was more media speculation than anything else. The fact that Gronk has declared himself playing pretty much confirms he is a go.

Not wishing that I'm right, or injury for him. Just have a feeling.

As Pro Football Talk says, "He is day to day"....... But so is the whole team....... I'll go a step ahead, and say he'll certainly play in week one. However, I think it'll be at a limited snap count, and instead of "day-to-day", I say "week-to-week."

Sure, but BB will not say it. He would rather put the whole team on the injured list. All he has to ask is "Does your D**K hurt after practice....... So you are injured/hurt....... If you are only hurt, you can still play......... If you play or have ever played football, something always hurts.......
