This is how my 4 team's turned out.... 10 team keeper league. No ppr. TD passes=4pts. Standard scoring with some normal type of bonuses. QB- Peyton Manning RB- Matt Forte RB- Maurice Jones-Drew WR- Calvin Johnson WR- Cordarrelle Patterson(return yards count) TE- Jordan Cameron R/W/T- Ray Rice R/W/T- Jeremy Maclin K- Adam Vinatieri DEF- Carolina Panthers Bench QB- Tony Romo RB- Jonathan Stewart WR- Danny Amendola WR- Kelvin Benjamin TE- Zach Ertz DEF- St. Louis Rams
Again really REALLY weak RBs. I have one of the best in the game today. Had to take some chances on the others though. It's a keeper league, so lot's of good Rb's weren't available to draft that I liked very much. I decided to gamble on MJD and Rice instead. Imagine if both of them play anything like they did just a few seasons ago? I'd have one of the best ff teams in history. Also, my gut feeling tells me that Jonathan Stewart may finally have a decent season. Or maybe that's just gas? Haha...will be fun to see how things pan out. Can't wait to say "I told you so" about most of this all next year.
No WR depth. I only have to start 2 of them, and I have 3 good Wr's. I hear ya though, the depth behind them is sub-par(Amendola or Benjamin). They ARE my 4th & 5th WR's though.
I like Cameron. I wouldn't have reached for Romo if I already had Manning-- Iwould have tried for a RB or WR to shore up my bench here. Tend to agree with you there now, after looking back on it. Could have used another RB or WR. Romo could be great trade bait too though, once someone elses Qb get's hurt. Grade: B- only because of Manning/Forte/Megatron. Otherwise would have been a C.
If I felt that skill alone could win all the time I would play on fanduel for money. But there is to much luck just like poker. You can set yourself up to succeed but that does not mean you will. Kind of like real football also. The teams that succeed usually have better luck with injuries and maybe even ball bounces or ref's calls. Take last year. In my opinion Eric Weddle fumbled that fake punt. Refs said otherwise. That would have sent the Steelers I think to the playoffs instead of us. But we have had the same thing happen in reverse. My dad drafted a team last year, and his first three picks were Foster, Julio, and Cobb. Bad luck. But he won his league. That's bananas. Now Larryb gonna show up

This is how my 4 team's turned out.... #3. Steeler Jeff's 'NFFL League
10 team PPR. I point per catch. Half a point for rushing attempts. Passing TD's=6pts. 1 point per 15 return yards. I drafted from the 6th spot. QB- Rivers RB- Lynch RB- Murray WR- Antonio Brown WR- Cordarrelle Patterson WR- Emmanuel Sanders TE- Zach Ertz R/W/T- Joique Bell K-Vinatieri DEF- CIN Bench QB- Cutler RB- Jonathan Stewart RB- Jeremy Hill WR- Amendola WR- Cooks DEF- San Fran FINALLY 2 good RBs-- and LOVE J Bell as a flex. Hoping for upside on your WR3 and WR bench--otherwise you're screwed in this PPR league. Brown was a ppr monser last season. Patterson will be a monster here this season, ESPECIALLY cause he'll also get 1pt per 15yds on kick returns. Sanders is on a team with Peyton at the helm, who let go of Decker, and also have Welker coming off his 3rd concussion in a year. Cooks should be a ff beast over in New Orleans too THIS season. Gee, I tell ya'. It's like I have vision, and the rest of the world wears bi-focals
Green TE and no backup. Didn't grab a backup, and probably should have. No biggie there though, IMO.
Cutler, again. Yes, but this time as my backup Grade: B --would have been B+ with a little better WR corps and an A with better QB. You don't like Rivers with Cutler as the backup option? Your best draft so far... Thx, I thought so too.

This is how my 4 team's turned out.... 12 team PPR. 1pt per catch. 3 IDP's. I've never done an IDP before, let alone having to choose 3 of em'. Kinda threw me off some. Passing TD's=6pts and -.5pt when sacked. Return yards included(20yds per pt). Two flex spots, and you can choose a 2nd QB in one of em'. I had the #1 overall pick. QB- Stafford WR- Patterson WR- Andre Johnson RB- McCoy RB- Joique Bell TE- Clay W/R/T- MJD Q/W/R/T- Dalton K- Didn't draft one DEF- HOU & BAL(rotate for matchup's) D- Brian Cushing DB- Empty LB- Mychal Kendricks Bench Sproles, Wallace, Watkins, Boldin, Stewart, Ladarius Green, Jordan Matthews and Amendola You have a hard-on for Patterson. LOL But you don't have a legit WR1. Kick return points=20 yards per point; 2 points at 100 yards; 4 points at 130 yards; 6 points at 160 yards. That should put Patterson in the #1 Wr conversation here this year. He was just outside the top 10 scoring Wr's here last year. Oh, did I mention that Andre Johnson was the 7th best scoring WR in THIS league last season?
Don't like Bell as an RB2 and your RB bench is really weak (again). Although I didn't plan for Bell to be my #2 here, I'm not upset with him being there. He was just outside the top 10 list of Rb's here last season, and is supposed to have a bigger role this season. Good chance he'll be on the top 10 list of Rb's here after this season.
Dalton? Sure, Dalton. Why NOT? He was the 4th best Qb in THIS league last season, and he was my SECOND Qb chosen in this draft! Seems like you never checked the statistics from this league last season, and you're in it. Good for me, I did. Yay me, lol. Wallace and Boldin have upside for late WR picks. Wing/Prayer with your TEs. Grade: C- Your worst draft. Sorry. This wasn't my best draft, you are right about that.

These are all standard 10 team leagues on NFL.com.
First team. This was an autopick draft. I can't tell you who got picked in what round: QBs- Rodgers, Kaepernick RBs-Forte, Spiller, J. Bell, J Hill, MJD, T. West WRs- Marshall, K. Allen, Hartline, Watkins TE- Pitta K- Tucker DEF- Cardinals
I feel like my starters are strong but my bench is very lacking. I feel alright about this team.
Team 2. Did this draft Friday night and forgot to record the rounds and picks. My phone won't show where they were drafted:
QBs: Rothlesberger, Cutler RBs: Lacy, Ellington, Spiller, Hyde, Sproles, Tate WRs: C. Johnson, Jeffery, B. Cooks, Watkins TEs: Rudolph, Clay K: None DEF: Bills
I'm gonna need QB and WR help probably at some point. Ill have to get a kicker before week 1. Feel decent about this team.
Team 3
Did this team this morning.
QBs: Rodgers (3.4), Wilson (9.4) RBs: Charles (1.4), Bush (4.7), Stacy (5.4), Rice (7.4), K. Davis (14.7) WRs: Green (2.7), D. Jackson (6.7), E. Sanders (8.7), Wayne (11.7), Maclin (12.7), M. Evans (13.4) TEs: Ertz (10.7) K: None DEF: Browns (15.4)
I feel like I got some steals with this one. Best one IMO

Just did my final league. I am in 6 leagues this year. 10 Team Standard Scoring. QB - Aaron Rodgers RB - LeSean McCoy RB - Alfred Morris WR - Larry Fitzgerald WR - Michael Crabtree TE - Greg Olsen W/R - Brandin Cooks K - Blair Walsh DEF - Chiefs BENCH QB Phillip Rivers RB Fred Jackson RB Maurice Jones-Drew RB Bernard Pierce WR Reggie Wayne WR Justin Hunter Loving the Qb's. Rb situation seems good. Not sold on your starting Wr's. Although Fitz is still a productive player, he was outside the top 20 WR's last season. Maybe not so bad if you had someone more reliable than Crabtree as your #2 WR. I DO like Cooks a lot this season as a flex play. Your bench WR's are not helping you much either. All in all, I think the load may be too heavy for Rodgers & McCoy to carry.

I did some more research this season, to make sure I would get the players I wanted. Sometimes you gotta' "reach" a lil' early on players, cause they just might not be there for you in the next round. The important thing is to make sure you target the right players, and understanding which ones are worth a reach sometimes, to ensure that you get them. You MUST know your specific league settings when targeting who to draft and where. The best way to understand the impact of your specific league settings, is to look at the scoring leaderboard from the previous season in that league. Sometimes you will be shocked how well certain players did according to those specific settings. I know I was. The bye weeks are also not something to overlook. Could end up costing you a game or two if multiple starters have the same bye week. Copied what I thought were the most critical points but all excellent, excellent advice. I play in three seperate leagues with most of the same people. By the time we got to our last draft together(Dive's Cheesy League), people had seemingly caught on to my drafting patterns, adjusted their drafting strategy on certain players, and started plucking them away from me. That's the one downside of doing 3 draft's in two days, with all the same peeps. It's so worth it though. We have all known eachother for years now, and we're all super-competitive. Lot's of very knowledgeable ff peeps, and that's exactly what I look for. I want to play with the best. How else would I be able to gauge my own prowess? Beat the best to be the best. That's my motto Could be coincidence. I've only done 1 draft with most of the people in big cheesy, and people still poached my players riiiiight before I picked them Could be coincidence. I've only done 1 draft with most of the people in big cheesy, and people still poached my players riiiiight before I picked them Yes, it certainly could have just been by coincidence. Just found it strange that I only really encountered that problem on the third and last draft. It's me I tell ya', it's always about me....this IS 'Eddie's World'....baaaaahaaahaa. In reality, I think it was a combination of both things. Some of us were certainly "high" on some of the same players, and probably got pissed when they were drafted earlier than expected. I'm sure some people had remembered that, and started to go after target players a lil' bit earlier by the third draft. I know that I certainly made some adjustments, according to how the previous drafting just went. LOL! Funny, that you 2 were the only ones that were new. Just Miss Lacy the year before. You both are probably correct, coincidence. Most people in there have been there at least 4 drafts now. But you're right Eddie, some stiff competition in that league - yours too! But the settings there are a little more straightforward. hehe

I'm embarassed to tell you mine, Yep, Tanne and Flacco. I was exhausted, was my 3rd draft - 1, 3 & 5 PM. And my WRs weren't stellar either. The only places I scored big were RB and TE, decent kicker lol. Something's always gotta give. 1. (4) Adrian Peterson (Min - RB) 2. (21) Doug Martin (TB - RB) 3. (28) Julius Thomas (Den - TE) 4. (45) Rashad Jennings (NYG - RB) 5. (52) DeSean Jackson (Was - WR) 6. (69) Golden Tate (Det - WR) 7. (76) T.Y. Hilton (Ind - WR) 8. (93) Ryan Tannehill (Mia - QB) 9. (100) Joe Flacco (Bal - QB) 10. (117) Riley Cooper (Phi - WR) 11. (124) Martellus Bennett (Chi - TE) 12. (141) Karlos Dansby (Cle - LB) 13. (148) DeMeco Ryans (Phi - LB) 14. (165) Darren McFadden (Oak - RB) 15. (172) Kenny Stills (NO - WR) 16. (189) Denver (Den - DEF) 17. (196) Antrel Rolle (NYG - S) 18. (213) Steven Hauschka (Sea - K) 19. (220) Jacquizz Rodgers (Atl - RB) 20. (237) Marvin Jones (Cin - WR)

I took Cutler 6th rd (64) and Kaep 7th (81). Lucky I didn't wait any longer. After going RB-RB-TE, you didn't need Jennings (45) Divebitch. You probably should have went WR-WR (or WR-QB). V Jax (46) and Dre Johnson (48) went right after you. (So did Wilson-47 and Luck-51). You may struggle to get consistency from Tate and Hilton, and could end up having to play WR roulette. BTW, Carson Palmer (101) went right after your Flacco pick. With a run game and 2 young WRs, I think Palmer will do better this year. I'm mad you stole Bennett. Wanna trade?

This is how my 4 team's turned out.... 1. Espn $$$ League with my cousin and his co-workers It's a 12 team PPR. I drafted from the 8th spot. 1pt per catch. Passing TD's=6pts. 10pt bonuses for any TD throw, catch or run. Everything else is pretty standard. We did it in a dark tavern, and I had a hard time seeing my list, the board, and keeping up in general. Wish I would have brought my laptop. It was also the first year they used ESPN as the site, so I was also unable to check how the scoring worked last season, according to those settings. Nevertheless, I still got most of the players I wanted, and feel it's a good team. QB- Cutler RB- Giovani Bernard RB- Rashad Jennings WR- Antonio Brown WR- AJ Green TE- Zach Ertz W/R/T- Cordarrelle Patterson D/ST- Panthers K- Dan Baily Bench: Made a few changes via FA QB-Palmer RB-Joique Bell RB-Andre Williams TE-Ladarius Green WR-Malcolm Floyd Why Malcolm Floyd? Grade: B Coming off last year's season-ending neck injury, Floyd -- who turns 33 on Monday -- was voted by scribes as the runaway MVP in spring sessions after serving as the "most-targeted" pass-catcher for quarterback Philip Rivers. 'most underrated'
