In that bad offensive line, I think I'd prefer a better bruiser. You are either the biggest homer ever, or... No, I can't think of an or. Can you quote me where I said don't blame him for injuries in reply to yo saying that's why he doesn't have 1000 yard seasons? You said for me not to blame injuries for that. Not the other way around. AB has shown that he can be good even in this o-line. His game agaist the 49ers made me a believer in him. I'm being biased with Bradshaw, and I apologize for that, but on the other side of things I think Richardson is the worst starting RB in the league.

But you literally said you'd rather have Bradshaw this year than Charles on the Colts. There's no rational discussion to be had here.

That's why he had only 2 1000 yards. And the injuries too. But even after so many injuries and the O-line's performance decreasing overtime he still played well. Just look at the game against the 49ers. Charles only shared the load one year with aging Larry Johnson. And now he has the help of the best FB in the league and a decent interior line. Responding to the earlier post, Charles is the better receiver, I'll give you that. But you're seriously underrating who Bradshaw is (as a runner) See my edit. Charles has 80 more career carries and 1400 more yards. That has nothing to do with sharing the back field does it? That's just better running and more efficiency. Don't blame injuries. If Jamaal hadn't tore his ACL he'd have another 1400 yard season under his belt. And as said previously, if we discounted injuries DMC would be a monster.

If they take advantage of his speed and used him as a receiver too, I'd probably want Charles. But they only use RBs in the passing game for short passes, and to BLOCK.

Mitch isn't even much of a homer really lol hence why I am immensely surprised that he would actually rather have AB with the Colts' line.

Ok heres my final answer... And I know people will disagree, cuz thats just what we do. We would have to order 60 different pizzas in order to satisfy everybody here if we were having a pizza party. Best Rb of all time - Barry Sanders Best all around back of all time - Walter Payton Best RB currrently - Adrian Peterson Best all around back currently - Shady McCoy, J Charles (TIE) HOW CAN YOU HAVE TWO BEST RBs!?!?! There is NEVER this discussion with any other position. Nobody is sitting here like "Calvin Johnson is the best WR, but Donnie Avery can block and run routes better, so he is the better all around WR." Obviously what I said isn't true, but you get the idea!

Obviously what I said isn't true, but you get the idea! It's because the quality of RBs in the league is much higher than the quality of any other position. There's a bunch of teams that have two (or more) really good RBs on their roster. Teams can regularly find starters or major contributors at the RB position in like rounds 4 and 5 in the draft. Again, that doesn't really happen with any other position.
