No it doesn't. Geno Smith is a bad NFL QB. I just don't think he is going to last long in the NFL. I think he makes it at least another year. Yep, he hasn't played nearly bad enough to warrant giving up on. He's looked fine thus far.

Any chance Pittsburgh considers a 3-4 OLB if one falls to them?

Any chance Pittsburgh considers a 3-4 OLB if one falls to them? Yes, since Jason Worilds is a Free Agent and is likely gone, regardless of how he plays. There are plenty of them available, but I don't think the Steelers will take a converted DE project in the 1st Round. Noah Spence is the only one I see that might be on their radar in the 1st.

I am good with the Amari Cooper pick.. I have gone from being rather confident with our WR's to having very little. As well as I am a lot more optimistic about Lamar Miller and our O-line.
Jelani Jenkins has stepped up and become a force at OLB, could still use to replace Wheeler but I wouldn't put that as a top priority right now. ILB again could use to be upgraded but I wouldn't even consider an early first round ILB unless there was a Kuechly or Patrick Willis type.
CB is the only other position I would be looking at at this point in the draft.. Grimes is aging who knows how long he will continue to be good for, and Finnegan is old and not all that great. We could really use a CB in this draft.. Though right now our offense is looking to be the bigger reason for us being shitty so I can definitely get behind Cooper..

Yeah, he and the top 2 corners are off the board in my mock so I gave them Shaq Thompson. I didn't even know worilds was leaving. -Sent from my food hole.

Shaq Thompson is more of a 4-3 OLB if I remember correctly. He wouldn't fit in our scheme very well. He isn't much of a pass rusher.

Why is there little chance of Worilds resigning? Does he not like Pittsburgh or something? I'd love to have him lol. He's a beast.

Or he's going to have a mediocre season and say to himself, "well you paid me 10 mil last year, I'm still worth that" and ask for too much.

He will either play out of our price range, or play to the point where he isn't worth signing to a long-term contract. What do you think of Carl Davis?
