I'm 100% sold on Diggy and Kevin Johnson as the players I definitely hope the Steelers draft. I just hope the Steelers line some predraft workouts with those two. I suppose there could still be an outside chance for Marcus Peters, but It'd require for the Steelers to meet with him and evaluate him

Bust list: Dorial Green Beckham - not even a top 5 receiver when he's playing, and he didn't play at all last season. Completely overrated speed, no ability to actually time a jump ball, despite his amazing size and arm length. Terrible focus, catching, route running, seperation, and pretty much everything but straight line speed and height. He's worse than Darius Heyward Bey was coming in to the NFL in virtually every way. I would be stunned if he's still in the NFL in two years, and that's before the biggest red flags of any player. So why is he highly ranked by so many? Because people see prospects with dual vision and assume that guys who can't keep it together off the field are superstars when they play. Most, if not all of his TDs at Missouri were blown coverage or jump balls. I've seen every one.
Marcus Peters - complete headcase. He acts like a spoiled child and will not last in the pros. He's a fine prospect on the field, but he won't ever get better than he was in college.
Maxx Williams - no ability to play inline, terrible route runner, and a bad attitude. He's basically an awful wide receiver who will get drafted because he's the "best" (by which I mean, highest rated) TE in a historically bad class.
Kevin Johnson - tiny corner who can't hit and plays with limited range. Nobody has perfect technique and his physical skills are so lacking that he will never be able to catch guys. Plus, he's going to get injured every year because he looks like he's made of paper.
Paul Dawson - terrible discipline and spoiled attitude similar to Peters. Good enough athlete to be a day 2 pick, but he won't last in the NFL.
Sammie Coates - Completely one dimensional speed guy. The difference between him and a guy like Smith, Perriman or Montgomery is that you can forecast those other guys working out underneath. We've seen that Coates cannot catch a football, take a hit, or make guys miss. You might as well draft a fast CB and have him play WR.
Bryce Petty - He doesn't have good enough accuracy, arm strength, or ability to read a defense to succeed in the NFL. He's like Tim Tebow without the athleticism. I wouldn't be surprised at all if he's undrafted. The media love for him is just unbelievable. The phrase "no redeeming value" comes to mind. It's also hilarious that people bash Mariota as a system QB, when they say Petty can be a pocket passer. Baylor's offense in 2014 was about as pro-style as K-state 10 years ago.
Arik Armstead: He's slow off the line, slow in general, and doesn't have any great pass rushing moves, which explains why he wasn't ever effective as a pass rusher at Oregon. He's basically just big and pushed people around, which doesn't work in the NFL where every lineman is 300+.
All the players I thought were certainly going to fall down the draft process due to either injuries, off the field problems, or massive flaws in their game have gotten really popular this year, and I can't explain it.

As far as the mock for the Titans, I'm conflicted. I say that because I always favor picking value over needs, but there's plenty of good value at offensive tackle, which is by far our #1 need. Ignoring it 3 times would be a little weird. I completely disagree with all three picks, on value and need arguments. Okay, not with Kikaha actually, that's fine. Not that he will ever be there in round 3. But if I had Tennessee's picks here, I would run to the podium to take Mariota, Ereck Flowers, and Denzel Perryman. That's pretty much the dream draft. It's three first round guys at our 3 biggest needs. Okay, FS. We would trade up and get Holliman before Buffalo took him or something.

Completely disagree with Kevin Johnson. 180 is not too small for a CB, and he doesn't shy from contact (Deion Sanders seyndrome) He's not going to make any huge hits, but he'll drag player down, he can be taught to tackle with technique. Which I'm fine with as long as he can cover. He's also one of the more athletic CBs in the 1st two rounds. He's the 2nd best CB in the draft

He's 174. But the weight isn't the problem. It's that he's a small framed, short armed, weak CB without upper body strength who weighed 150 two years ago. Being small is okay for a corner, when they have great reflexes, jumping, change of direction, and straight line speed. Johnson isn't amazing in any of those four. That's why he's a likely bust.

You're right. They're not weaknesses. But you've got to be Jason Verrett or DJ Hayden good at those things if you want to get drafted without a base against the run and with a high likelihood to get hurt. There's better corners than Johnson who don't have his red flags, so why would a team take this risk? It doesn't seem like he does anything so well that I should risk it. I look at him like a worse Ifo Ekpre-Olomu. They're both small guys with injury questions, but IEO has elite speed and range, and he can hit.

I'd so love this. If Gregory cleans up his act, he could easily be the best pass rusher in the draft and would be a monster for the Steelers. I'd be happy with the rest as well. Rowe is a personal favorite. I'd love if they drafted Amos as he would be a sure fire special teams beast, and can play all over the defense as he played CB, FS, and even played a little in the box. Kind of like a very poor man's Polamalu. I'm glad you grabbed a RB, although I'm more of a fan of Johnson, but that's just me personally.
