I've heard Hau'oli Kikaha has some medical red flags that has taken him off some team's boards. Other than that he's a fine player, although maybe too stiff or unathletic for OLB. As always I love the Collins pick for the Steelers, especially now with Polamalu gone. Although the team saying they do not have further plans for Troy makes me think they might trust Shamarko to be the starting SS. Hopefully he can take over FS instead if they do get Collins. Absolutely has medical red flags. In my lockbox joked that his knees were made of duct tape and prayers. But the same thing was said about Keenan Allen and he never got hurt. Kikaha is potentially great, but he's more of a 43 end in the Nfl I think. I don't think 3-4 or 4-3 will matter as much for the Steelers, just as long as they can still perform while standing up. I honestly think the OLB will drop in coverage much less and might look more similar to the Steeler's 90s, "Blitzburgh" defense with Kevin Greene and Greg Lloyd/Jason Gildon. Especially with how athletic the Steelers have

Fair enough. The uncertainty about what the front 7 will be responsible for makes the Steelers tough to mock. All the more reason to mock them a safety I guess.

Fair enough. The uncertainty about what the front 7 will be responsible for makes the Steelers tough to mock. All the more reason to mock them a safety I guess. Pretty much like I said before, anyone who can learn to be a stand up pass rusher and isn't too stiff. But that's just a hunch, it's entirely possible Butler doesn't change anything. Collins could be great because if the OLBs don't drop as often Collins could drop into the box as a 5th LB and help cover the short-middle or flats. Shazier, Timmons, and Spence are also very athletic LBs that could do the same and allow the OLBs to go QB hunting. They could also decide to go with a NT if they decide thy don't want to pay McLendon when his contact is up. Likely someone similar to McLendon with some size (325+) but still athletic the push the pocket (and fit better in a hybrid defense), and keep McCullers as the traditional 0-tech space eater. But a DT would only happen if there if the top OLBs, CBs, and safety is off the board. OL is also the option, certainly left guard and an outside chance for a LT. But the value would have to be there.

Do not wnt DGB at all.. I think he has potential to be very special but not in Miami. We don't have the coaching staff or the front office to handle someone with the problems he brings. It would be a disaster if Miami drafted him.
