Watch the Steelers take a LT (TE?) instead. They really don't like taking first round CBs... No idea why. They probably would have taken Fuller if he fell to them. And they know they shouldn't take a LT in the 1st Round. That is just too much money invested in high picks (DeCastro is still in his rookie deal and they just gave Pouncey and Gilbert extensions this summer. CB will be too big of a hole after this season to ignore once Ike Taylor leaves (as he is expected to).

As of right now Miami would easily take any LB over a WR. I think we are pretty solid at WR. Wallace, Gibson(if healthy), Hartline, Mathews and Landry are all serviceable. Not to mention O-line is still a huge problem.
Not a huge fan of taking Landry in the second this year, even less of a fan of it next year. OL or LB of any position is more important as of now. Possibly CB depending on how this year plays out for Finnegan and Jamar Taylor.
Edit: I'd also take a RB particularly Gurley over an WR. Miller Sucks, Thomas sucks and who knows how many more miles Moreno has on the tires. Dude is already injured for the start of the season and as good as he can be, I just doubt that he stays healthy.

Depends a bit on what LT is there, if there's a stud then pull the trigger, if the player is a bit questionable in any way then no way. I wouldn't mind going for a pass rusher either if Worilds gets under 7 sacks or so, and shows sub-par performance in coverage and against the run. A nice 6'4"+ 255-260+lbs pass rusher who can slide inside with Heyward and Tuitt in sub-packages. A guy like Ziggy Ansah would have been perfect for that.. but look how high he went.

He was big and strong enough they could have made him play like a mini 5-tech in sub-packages, but athletic enough that he could have maybe stood up like a jumbo LB. Would have been an awesome sub-package player.

I know I haven't been around here in a while. So, let's get the pleasantries out of the way; hi everyone!
Observations:
why are the Chargers picking ahead of the Chiefs? After trading up in the second round for Jerry Attaochu a few months ago, I doubt the Chargers will take another OLB early. At this stage, even though it is ridiculously early, the Chargers need a DT, a WR to possibly replace Floyd after this year, a OG or OC (in case Nick Hardwick doesn't come back).

I just don't think the Chargers are as talented as the Chiefs are team wise. I dropped the ball there and completely forgot about Attaochu. I did consider WR for the Chargers, but my forgetfulness of Attaochu and seeing Mercilus and Johnson penciled in as the starters made me think LB in the 1st. In my next Mock I will probably give them Dorial Green-Beckham or DeVante Parker.

We hardly lost anyone significant in FA, also, we pilfered Brandon Flowers from them. Final point, the Chiefs were more talented than us last year and WE STILL SWEPT THEM (starters and back-ups)! Also, who's Mercilus?

Also, who's Mercilus? We didn't lose there starting linemen. We lost three linemen with starting experience. Fun fact people seem to glaze over: Asamoah and Geoff never started a game together. Keep Flowers. More power to you. Maybe you get 6 healthy games. Chargers vs the Chiefs: 3 points vs Hali/Houston. Just wait until you guys face them healthy.
