Johnny Manziel caught on video giving the middle finger to the Redskins sideline after an incomplete pass. LMAO. The dude is so fricken immature. Any professional QB would have let them talk. You gotta be the bigger man when you are a QB. Phillip Rivers has proved you dont need to be the bigger man playing QB in the nfl.

He doesn't care about how people think he's "supposed" to act, he just does his own thing which I respect. The majority of QBs in the league are like broken records with how they carry themselves on the field, in post-game interviews etc.. You can even throw my very own Drew Brees in that category.

Giving the middle finger to the Redskins bench after they talked trash to him isn't just "breaking the mold". It showed Manziel's lack of composure when he is struggling (probably something he hasn't done his entire life, being from such privilege as he was growing up). In order to be a successful NFL QB, you need to block all that stuff out and concentrate on the game. That is pretty much a lesson in life too and not just football. Reacting to stuff like that does absolutely nothing but make you think even more negatively and gives them more reason to keep doing it. I learned that from experience. Johnny just needs to grow up and tone that out. How many other QBs in the NFL would you see giving the opposing sideline a middle finger (while their back was turned btw, and not face to face)? None.

I like when guys break the mold a bit... like Peyton and Eli doing their goofy videos to make people laugh. But I wouldn't call giving the opposing team the middle finger breaking the mold... That is just letting your emotions get the best of you. He's young and this is all new to him, so I am not really judging him based on a couple stupid actions, but I would definitely not go so far as to give him credit for being an individual for his disrespectful attitude. I hope he matures as the year goes on and I hope he ends up playing some good football, because unconventional players like him can be a lot of fun to watch. If he wants to do his "get paid" motion as a celebration, that is cool... it's his thing... and if he wants to go to parties with celebs and enjoy his youth... that's cool too. But I think it's important to show some respect to your fellow players.

Honestly I just find it funny how you back up Ben's actions, but constantly rip on Johnny's.

Honestly I just find it funny how you back up Ben's actions, but constantly rip on Johnny's. To be fair, Ben was only accused of rape a couple of times... Johnny was caught on video giving the other team the finger. Clearly Johnny is a far worse person than Ben. Plus, Ben has shown his maturity by letting himself get drafted by the Steelers, where as Johnny moronically let himself get drafted by the fucking Browns... what an idiot!

Not to mention Johnny has been caught partying before. Your right, I take back what I said earlier. Johnny is the real criminal.

You don't see me trying to make this about Aaron Hernandez do you?
Hell, I bet if Tom Brady got accused of rape but not proven guilty, you would be defending him too. And don't lie saying you wouldn't, because I know you would.

Honestly I just find it funny how you back up Ben's actions, but constantly rip on Johnny's. Honesly, I just find it funny how you always try to make it about Ben when I rant on another QB. That kind of tactic is indicative of someone who is losing an argument. lol this is a simple discussion. You can go ahead and call it an argument or a debate if you want. I could careless about "winning" this discussion.

And don't lie saying you wouldn't, because I know you would. What does Aaron Hernandez have to do with this? I never defended the guys innocence, I just claimed he would not be found guilty and I firmly believe that. Two completely different things. Tom Brady hasnt been accused of rape, so how is that relevant? We can play the hypothetical game all day long.
