Eh, probably won't pick up anyone significant until after the first round cuts.

Well he's improved every year, had to play through injuries last season but did a solid job. So fain preseason he has looked very good. I wouldn't doubt Munchak could get the best out of him.

Brett Keisel just turned down a workout with the Cardinals to sign with the Steelers...
Um.. WHY?!
I swear this is going to infuriated to no end if the Steelers cut Daniel McCuller, Josh Mauro, Terence Garvin, Rob Golden, Justin Brown, ect. The Cards are going to jump all over any opportunity to grab a linemen, the Bills likely would love to grab Garvin as well if he loses out in the numbers game..
I love The Beard, but this DL does not need no help..

Hell.. I'd rather have Harrison back than Keisel. At lest if they cut Chris Carter (he's at his peak), Vic So'oto (has been on multiple teams and haven't figured it out), and Howard Jones (no one is taking someone that raw, he makes the practice squad for sure). Harrison wouldn't have to start, just play the run and he would be fresh all season.
Keisel? Regardless Thomas and Heyward starts, Keisel might get on the field early for the sub packages and be the stand up linemen since that might be asking too much of Thomas athletically and Tuitt mentally. But he's not really a threat to pressure the pocket or anchor against double teams consistently, at lest Tuitt has all the tools necessary right now to succeed.

Because the practice squad just got bumped to 10. I bet they keep 7 and keep McCullers and Mauro. Mauro may not make it to the ps so hopefully they put him on the 53. Hopefully Williams and Arnfelt would make it to the PS. i assume they would.
I would be ok with them bringing Harrison back too as long as it means Cris Carter is the one off the team. Put one of So'oto or Jones on the 53 and the other on the PS.
It is very hard to balance 1) trying to make each years team as good as possible to try to get a SB and 2) giving young talent room to grow into starting roles.
These are hard decisions to make. I am ok with Keisel coming back, as long as they keep 7 DL and keep Mauro, if they cut Mauro and he does get picked up I will be upset. He has looked good in preseason. But I would rather have Keisel on the roster than Williams or Arnfelt.

Well he's improved every year, had to play through injuries last season but did a solid job. So fain preseason he has looked very good. I wouldn't doubt Munchak could get the best out of him. Mike Munchak does not have a successful tenure as an offensive line coach. He inherited Michael Roos and David Stewart, two high draft picks that were already stars who developed into superstars. He also got credit for the end of Kevin Mawae's career. He's never built anyone into a star before. He has an amazingly successful HOF career as a guard, but he isn't the motivator and talent cultivator you think he is. Don't get me wrong, he's a good position coach and you should be glad to have him, but him doing the job in no way should be a sign that your line will automatically step up its performance. And I also don't think paying 5 mil per year for a guy who needs to improve and show he can stay healthy is reasonable. However, I love that it's a contract at age 26, because you are locking down a starter in his prime with a team that doesn't seem cap strapped. So yeah, it's an okay signing but I say slightly overpaid.
