Mind you, number 1 overall in the rookie draft. So I took him over guys like, well here's the first round of that rookie draft. (Little over a year ago) Ball Bell Tavon austin Lacy Gio Bernard Eifert Hopkins Corredelle Patterson Zac Stacy Keenan Allen Aaron Dobson Lattimore(auto pick, sadly)
Looking back, I wish I'd taken lacy. But Ball still has a ton of upside for this season and on.
Thanks for taking Ball, I'd say that worked out well for me. IMO thank JDI for taking Austin. You shoulda been stuck with Gio, then no championship!

I would have taken Lacy in your rookie draft, Morkim. (But then *I* am a true-blue Packer fan first-- and a Badger fan second. LOL) Otherwise I'm all in on Ball over Bell (which I STILL think is the better draft option this year too). Ironically, eddiej made an off-handed comparison between Lacy and Ball which I think is spot on. Ball is a BEAST up the middle and CANNOT be stopped at the goal line. If DEN didn't have Moreno last year-- and Ball didn't screw-the-pooch on pass protection in the early games-- he would have recorded similar stats to Lacy and we wouldn't be having this conversation. He's an RB1 all day and will be snatched up in the 2nd round in most draft formats this year.

Okay just did another, and this has got to be one of my best ever. This was with the 6th pick in a 10 team NFL Managed Draft.
QB Aaron Rodgers - 3rd RB Jamaal Charles - 1st RB Doug Martin - 4th WR A.J. Green - 2nd WR Roddy White - 6th TE Greg Olsen - 7th W/R Alfred Morris - 5th K Blair Walsh - 14th DEF Kansas City Chiefs - 8th BEN RB Chris Johnson - 9th BEN WR Reggie Wayne - 10th BEN WR Marques Colston - 11th BEN QB Tony Romo - 12th BEN RB Bernard Pierce - 13th BEN WR Markus Wheaton (homer pick) - 15th

Why did you take the chiefs in the 8th?

WR2 I'm sort of on the line with Roddy, but the value you was there. Depth at WR is shaky, but I love all 5 RBs, value considering.

Charles slipping to the 6th overall, Lynch being drafted 2nd( even during his holdout), and SAM BRADFORD drafted #9 OVERALL....baaahaaha! That's how I came to be good friends with people here over the years. Got tired of those silly random leagues, and wanted to test my skills against real competition. This must be your first year playing ff, right? It's all good, but you can't take anything out of those random draft results. Try doing a mock draft with 9 other people from here.

This isn't my first year. I had a league on NFL.com with a few guys on here (back when the forums were still up and they weren't on facebook), but it didn't really do all that well. I have been doing fantasy football for a few years and I just like doing random leagues.
