www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap2000000364900/article/ravens-jimmy-smith-arrested-for-disorderly-conductIMHO, he should be applauded for not wanting to leave his friend/whatever to the police, who may not give a rat's ass about her well-being compared to the fact it was a drug-related crime/event. He gave them the 'FU', but that is the reaction of someone who truly cares. I would hope any friend or family of mine would do the same thing. There is no reason he shouldn't have been there if not interfering. And I surely hope this doesn't count 1 iota against him as 'getting in trouble', especially if he had nothing to do with the coke (or probably other drugs as well).

He would be a great addition to Denver's secondary.

Depends a lot on whether he knew about the coke or not. If he didn't he was just helping her out and the alcohol got to him a bit. If he did know about it then it's fairly likely that he was running interference with the police so he/she could get rid of it before they knew.
Either way I doubt he gets in trouble for the drugs because they weren't on him, unless they "randomly" test him and he doesn't come up clean.
