Mo..I watched basketball back then. Pippen was not a superstar. He played good defense. His career high PPG was 22 in 1994. The other parts of those championships were at best average except for when Rodman was there. It was 80% MJ , 10% other part of team, and 10% Phil Jackson. Lebron will NEVER be as good. No matter what he does. Basically, you're just saying Bosh + Wade > Pippen + Kerr?

That's better than the other 95% of players in the league who never make any all star games. Here. For comparison, I'll add some 1 time all stars to Lebron's Heat. Andrew Bynum Marc Gasol Sam Cassell (He's retired now, but still. Imagine Cassell back in his day.) Let's add those players, who are one time all stars, to Lebron's team. Then maybe (maybe) Lebron will have as good of team as MJ had back in the day.

Rodman was only with MJ for the 2nd three peat, which means Jordan won more championships than LeBron has NOW. Pippen and Kerr were DRAFTED by the Bulls, and not signed by the team to play. The talent in the NBA was much more spread out back when MJ played, and the league today has become much more soft. I'm ready to go to battle on this one Whether they were drafted or signed by the team in FA is irrelevant. The point is people like to talk down Lebron by saying "he can't win a title without superstars around him", when in reality, MJ couldn't either. It's definitely worth noting MJ was with the Bulls for 7 years before he even won his first title. And his first title didn't come until he had Pippen. I agree with your sentence on the second line. That's why I'm not really a fan of today's NBA. My point about them being drafted is that the team they were pucked by developed them into the players they became. Whereas LeBron and Bosh agreed to go play with their buddy D. Wade in Miami. And of course, Jordan stayed after he took beatings from the Bad Boy Pistons, whereas LeBron had flameouts against the Celtics and Magic

Check his stats in those games. It's the rest of the Cavs team that sucked.
