Yeah, I definitely agree with that. It is impressive what Brady did last year with the limited options he had. I just felt the need to defend Brees lol. I can admittedly get a little defensive when it comes to him. Stills/Cooks > Edelman/Thompkins. Agreed, however I would take Edelman/Dobson> Stills/Cooks. I actually dont think Thompkins will make the team if all the receivers stay healthy.

Stills/Cooks > Edelman/Thompkins. Maybe. Depends on how Cooks does his rookie year. But Dobson > Thompkins though IMO. Stills/Cooks vs Edelman/Dobson is much more flip-floppable. Dobson, like most of Brady's options, was hurt a good deal last year.

I dont know if you can say at least Brady had Edelman. Considering 90 percent of the people on this forum barely knew who Edelman was before last season. Point taken. I don't think Edelman's a bad receiver though. The dude has some game IMO. I don't think he'll be a constant 1000 yard WR in this league or anything, but I think he could be (at least) solid on any team. I really think that any quick/shifty receiver, with decent hands can put up big numbers in the slot in our system. Im going to guess that Edelman is in the high 80's to mid 90's in catches this year. If Gronk and Dobson get healthy, then Edelman's production probably drops in the range of 70-80 catches. I actually think Vereen has an outside chance of catching a 100 passes this season if he stays healthy. From a pure talent prospective Vereen is a better version of Kevin Faulk, which is really saying something.

Brady only had less than 300 passing yards once, from week 9 to week 15. Brady had Gronk, Dobson, or Vereen on the field during this time( although none of them all at once. )

Dobson, like most of Brady's options, was hurt a good deal last year. They (Thompkins and Dobson) both only played 12 games last year, so if you put Thompkins in the comparison instead of Dobson because of that, I don't understand why.

That gives me hope for Jeremy Gallon to succeed in this league.

The take away Brees weapons and see how he does, vs Brady losing so many weapons and the level he played at. P.S. Stills sucks. PPS(lol pp) I'm a Brees supporter, but Brady did a shit ton with just shit.
