New stadium for the Riders!!

I know people here don't care about the CFL, but I am frickin excited for this and want to show off the design for our new stadium which is set to be built for 2017..

So our old Stadium, Taylor Field was built in 1936.. as you can well imagine it is really really outdated and shitty.. There have been upgrades and such but its still an 80 year old "Stadium" with horrible washrooms, no place to have concession stands, where you are sitting shoulder to shoulder with the person next to you packed into your seats like sardines, as well as we had arguably the windiest stadium in north america always making shit interesting. Not to mention it sits in the heart of the worst area in our city lol.

Here it is!



As you can see we are/were in need of a severe upgrade.
So now we are finally getting a new stadium built, and not only is it going to be new state of the art and moving a little farther out of the ghetto, but my oldest brother is working for the company that is building this bad boy!

I read that as "Raiders" haha. Smh Oakland get it together . But I'd say that stadium was looking pretty outdated

I read it that way too. Then I thought someone put it in 'CFL' by accident. lol They could use a new stadium - 1966. Isn't it the only NFL stadium that still hosts baseball? Hmmmm, don't see it happening.

Looks lovely, Jin. Current stadium layout just looks weird. Do the seats go that high on the opposite (foreground) side? But seriously, sardines? Population of > 250,000? Is it like what the Packers are to Green Bay?

Nice stadium, I seen those big screen TV's, thought for a minute it was a dome then seen it was open air stadium. That's gotta be cool that your brother is working for the company that's building it.

He's a Project Manager for them. But so far he has worked more on small projects. I don't know how involved he will be with the actual stadium build.
