1. Houston Texans-Jadeveon Clowney. DE, South Carolina:. With no clear cut #1 QB, I think Houston has to pick the highest rated player. It wouldn't be crazy to consider Greg Robinson since supposedly, they need a RT. Even Watkins makes sense with Andre Johnson getting older. I'm still not totally sold on them taking Clowney and if they pass on him, it will be very interesting!
2. St. Louis Rams (via trade w/Was)-Sammy Watkins, WR, Clemson: When looking at the Rams' offensive tackles Jake Long and Joe Barkdale, I don't see the horrible, desperate need for improvement. I'm not saying they are set at the position by any means, but I think the Rams pass on the boring Robinson pick and go with the guy who can team up with Britt and Austin to make for a very dangerous group of WR.
3. Jacksonville Jaguars-Johnny Manziel. QB, Texas A&M: He's my top QB on the board which fits a need and Jax desperately needs to bring exciting players to their club just for ticket sales lol. Khalil Mack is their second best option.
4. Cleveland Browns- Blake Bortles, QB, Central Florida: With no huge need for pass rushers or OT's, Mack or Robinson don't fit here. The Browns get screwed in a way and have to go with need at the QB position. I really wouldn't be surprised if they trade in the first.
5. Oakland Raiders-Khalil Mack. OLB, University of Buffalo: They would think about Robinson since Donald Penn is not a long term answer. However, Mack is too exciting to pass up here.
6. Atlanta Falcons- Greg Robinson. OT, Auburn: Atlanta lucks out with the first five teams not being desperate for the top lineman into the draft. Ryan is happy.
7. Tampa Bay Buccaneers-Mike Evans. WR, Texas A&M: As good as Vincent Jackson is, they can't pay him what he wants for much longer.
8. Minnesota Vikings--Teddy Bridgewater. QB, Louisville: Another team that can't pass on a talented QB when the remaining players on the board aren't that exciting in terms of team needs.
9. Buffalo Bills-Eric Ebron. TE, North Carolina: Bills give Manuel a multipurpose weapon on offense, opening the door for other receivers.
10. Detroit Lions-Anthony Barr, OLB, UCLA: Lion's opt to add a piece that makes their front 7 downright scary.
11. Tennessee Titans- Justin Gilbert. CB, Oklahoma State: Needs pick after Verner leaves in FA. They will run with Locker and Carr officially drops out of the first round.
12. New York Giants-Aaron Donald, DT, Pitt: Giants need to rebuild back to their old days of winning which means great, versatile lineman in passing situations.
13. St. Louis Rams-Jake Matthews, Texas A and M: Call me crazy, but OT's could definitely fall in this draft if teams get too QB and skill position crazy. If they really do want an OT, then the Rams luck out here after passing on Robinson. Even Ha Ha Dix isn't tempting enough to take over the quality of Matthews.
14. Chicago Bears-CJ Mosley, LB Alabamba: Bears have to do something about that run D and Mosley fits a team need + good value imo.
15. Pittsburgh Steelers-Darqueze Dennard. CB, Michigan State: Old age at the CB position makes this a good needs pick.
16. Dallas Cowboys- Ha Ha Clinton-Dix, S, Alabamba: With many needs on the defensive side of the ball including safety, the Cowboys land a highly versatile player.
17. Baltimore Ravens-Calvin Pryor. S, Louisville: It's a popular pick among mocks and I also like it. He has the nastiness of a Raven.
18. New York Jets: Kyle Fuller, CB, VT: Although the Jets have a lot of young depth at the CB position, they lack proven starters. They could easily take a WR here and trade up for a corner in the 2nd, but I like corner first and WR later.
19. Miami Dolphins: Taylor Lewan. OT, Michigan: Good value and versatility for the oline.
20. Arizona Cardinals-Zach Martin. OT, ND: Cards need a starter at RT right away and Martin's value is too good to pass up.
21. Green Bay Packers-Odell Beckham, JR, LSU: Tough Speedster that could become Roger's favorite quickly.
22. Philadelphia Eagles-Brandin Cooks. WR, Oregon St: Chip Kelly will love this guy's ability to line up all over the field.
23. KC Chiefs- Marqise Lee, WR, USC: . I will be surprised if they can resist a WR here.
24. Cincinnati Bengals-Kona Ealy, DE: With the top corners gone, Cinci goes with the most exciting player that also fits a team need.
25. San Diego Chargers-Louis Nix, DT, ND:: Nix is a good needs pick and the best corners are gone.
26. Cleveland Browns (via trade w/IND): Xavier Su'a Filo, G, UCLA: Cleveland already has its QB and G is a big team need.
27. New Orleans Saints-Bradley Roby, CB, Ohio St: Off-field issues might cause him to miss the 1st round, but I say the Saints continue to upgrade the secondary.
28. Carolina Panthers-Kelvin Benjamin. WR, Florida State : Panthers have to get Newton help at WR. However, needing a corner, maybe they take Verret here instead.
29. New England Patriots-Dee Ford, DE, Auburn: More pass rush could put NE's D over the top.
30. San Francisco 49ers-Jason Verrett. CB, TCU: Top team need imo.
31. Denver Broncos-Ryan Shazier, OLB, Ohio St: Just keep adding to that D and hope to win it all.
32. Seattle Seahawks-Ra'shede Hageman, DT, Minnesota: Big beast that should fit well in their D scheme.
