Current QB ratings: 5. David Fales GG WP. He's my bet to be Locker's backup unless we land Carr or Teddy B in round 2. For me: 1. Blake Bortles (top 10 or bust) 2. Derek Carr (round 1) 3. Zach Mettenberger (late round 1) 4. Johnny Manziel (early round 2) 5. Teddy Bridgewater (early round 2) I don't think that's the order they'll go in obviously, but if I had all 32 picks, that's the order in terms of an evaluation. They don't go in that order in my mock draft, but evaluating them as passers, that's how I see it.

The only thing I disagree with is your views on Derek Carr. I am evaluating them the same way you are. I think Manziel will be the first QB off the board. Someone is going to fall in love with his incredible plays, but ignore negatives. I think Bortles goes 2nd, and Bridgwater 3rd( although I think he slides near the bottom of the first ). I think Mccarron goes next, and then Mettenberger. I really like David Fales. I think he is starting material, and would be willing to take him in the second round even though most people would call that a reach. Most people seem to have a 4-6 round grade on him, but I wonder if NFL teams view him the same way. Obviously the media's view on a player isnt always NFL front office view on a player. I have to say this is probably the most exciting draft in the past 10 years. I think a 3rd round pick is probably the equavilant of a first round pick in last years class. I am hoping we have an offer to pull off a similar trade as we did last year with the Vikings.

I still very much like Stephen Tuitt and Rasheed Hageman. Both can play in multiple different schemes, also offer good interior pass rush. I would be fine with either guy at 29. Manti teo sort of ruined me as far as ND prospects go...but yes I do like Tuitt alot. Dudes massive. Haegman as well. What are your thoughts on Nix3? I think NT is our biggest need and that dude is a tank.

I have no idea if he will still be around in the 20's though.

I view Daquan Jones as a sleeper pick. Very talented player, who is nfl ready IMO. I see him as a NT in a 3-4, although most view him differently. He should be a 2nd or 3rd round pick.

Manziel has impressed me the most. He is highly intelligent and creative with the athleticism and accuracy needed to play the modern QB position. He is the only QB that I would consider drafting in the top 10. I would consider Carr, Bridge or Bortles in the bottom of the first, but their tape doesn't wow or standout enough to me. I see this as a draft with an abundance of mediocrity at the QB position. I will probably be wrong.

What concerns me about him is that he misses wide open receivers all the time. A lot of the time he ends up making incredible plays as a result, but I cant imagine this translating to the NFL. Honestly I do not have a very good track record when it comes to determining QB's success in the NFL. I had Ryan Mallett as the best QB in the draft a few years ago, with Blaine Gabbert right behind him, and Cam Newton as a sure bust. The jury is still out on Mallett, but it is pretty clear that Cam is succeeding, and Gabbert is not. I think this QB class is pretty overrated though. But everyone wants a franchise QB, so I guess it shouldnt surprise anyone.
