And why is he now a 1st RD pick (31) on CBS Sports Draft Prospect rankings?
The Rams have been looking at this guy....
And I love his name.

Started off at Rutgers; transferred to Pittsburgh; did good; good size and potential; rising up boards.

If you mean in person or with him at Rutgers, no. If you mean on TV this past year, once.

He spurned Rich Rodriguez because he believes anything other than a pro-style offense is unsporting. Can hand off the ball to either side. So committed to rising and grinding he doesn't sleep, much less have time to tweet about it Takes precaution not to wear baseball caps on windy days, lest the brim get blown off center on accident. Is approximately two Fluties tall. Is incredibly, incredibly young on the Weeden Scale. Predates tattoos, therefore doesn't have any. Was high school teammates with former Jets QB Browning Nagle. Is a Schiano/Stoops/Chryst/Etc. Man. The older brother of Randy "Macho Man" Savage. Pronounces GIF with a hard G. An anonymous NFL scout described Savage as "friendly and handsome, but not TOO friendly and handsome." Is definitely, definitely not Brady Quinn. www.sbnation.com/college-football/2014/4/17/5625816/tom-savage-nfl-draft-pick-why-why-why

I expect him to be a late first to mid 2nd round pick. A lot of upside and a very high character guy.
I think he is a talented player, but I wouldnt pick him in the top 2 rounds, as there is limited tape on him. I can see why people like him though, big arm, great pocket presence.
I am not sure if I am the only one who thinks this, but I think only 1 or 2 QB's will go in the top 10, and that there will be a huge run of QB's from around 25 til 50.

He's quickly becoming the most overrated player in the draft. Wouldn't touch him until the 5th.

Best QB prospect since Brady IMO I understand your joke, but this guy is like the complete opposite of Brady coming out of college. A lot of people assume Brady was a bad QB in college, but he wasn't. Brady was actually very successful at Michigan in the two years he started. Won a B1G championship and an Orange Bowl. It's just that scouts didn't think Brady had a big enough arm, was mobile enough, etc. Brady was always accurate but people thought that was his only good trait. Compare that to Savage, who has a lot of those tools, but just doesn't perform well on the field. He was playing with two NFL WRs on his team and still stunk it up for a lot of the year. He's just a camp warrior, and people are getting caught up in his measurables.
