funny how you always talked Djax up about being a premier WR. now you want rid of him when he is making money?
would not expect anything else from the Eagles who backloaded Djax's deal to help the team and now they want to unload him when he is finally starting to make the money he should be.

Wow...what a hateful and spiteful post. What should I have expected though? Did I not trade him in our mock? Lol. And you know damn well Philly has plenty of cap space even with him making 10+mil. So that point is bias at its best. ...if he gets dealt(which is highly unlikely, its because he's the problem...not his salary) "Typical Eagles"...lol. Stay hatin ponyboy;)

Why not?? Reportedly, the Pats are very interested, and forget who else. Any interested parties are probably doing their best to keep it under wraps. I know the draft is deep but it could take a year or two to develop a WR. Why did they give him the fat contract if he wasn't worth it? TBH, when he got that contract, I thought it was crazy, cuz he hadn't been performing at a high level. So proving he's capable of doing just that with Foles and decent coaching, why lose him now, after a career best??? Draft pick? They were all over it on NFL Live today, and Howard Eskin (resident Eagles reporter/analyst) mentioned Chip Kelly being of the mindset that 'big people beat up little people', and that was one of the reasons he was being shopped. He then goes on to say that Sproles (as much as I love this acquisition) is capable of almost the same # of catches. Well not all catches are created equal - 8 yds a catch is not the same as 16. D-Jax is their only reliable deep threat, Sproles could never be that. I do like Maclin, but don't think he can be considered reliable for anything at this point.

The Pats interest hasnt been backed up by any credible sources. An almost 13 million dollar cap hit will surely prevent the Pats from trading for him, he is not worth close to that money IMO.
I cant imagine too many teams willing to take on that contract, although one thing to consider is it that it could easily be restructured into a signing bonus, clearing up a lot of cap room on the contract but fully guaranteeing whatever years are turned into a signing bonus.
