I talked to MB the other day about their site. He said there is a box that you can click on in the articles and such. The box if checked blocks your face book from being displayed or used by any user or even the mods. Just thought I'd pass that on.

About half of the Facebook accounts are blocked. The other half allow you to see the profile. Several people who still have their account open have the account linked to, (or openly name), their NFL.com accounts. I've clicked on a bunch of people trying to find some of the better posters. I've not found the ones i'd was looking for but i'm surprised at the identities of some of the accounts.

I have a reason however, with my school and desired career path, if I can comment, and make enough good comments over the next few years that some of the media crew, namely writers see it, they will recognize my name adding a bit of credibility when it comes down to it. I still need a substantial portfolio and replies wont count, but it breeds familiarity. These guys all read their comments as much as possible. The will not reply or acknowledge the posts most the time, but they will throw in a word here and there such as "Even though i'll get bashed in the comments section" and so on. Hell the other day I caught a bad typo that Michael Fabiano had on his Mail Bag post. I sent him a tweet letting him know about it, then he sent me a reply saying thanks it was suppose to be something else and thanks. It wasnt much I know, but it shows that they do read them.

if the fourms do transfer to facebook i would be doing any recruiting probably
i have a facebook, but i dont use it to socialize. i only use it too keep up with sports and other stuff i want
i think the forums will stand. its not been as big of a problem IMO.
if we are worried about the forums going on, i suggest maybe all of us try to send some good feedback on the forums to the mods through email prehaps. build them up prehays and make them happy

The forums will stand whilst the staff think they can control it. There aren't too many spammers or trouble-makers coming in yet but it may well change once the season starts. Spammers will follow posters. The busier the forums are, the more likely they are to attack. Hitting a deserted forum isn't worth their while. I remember what happened in the 49ers war-room and the Graveyard with the post/thread creating spammer. If/when that happens during the season the moderators may have to shut things down.

It's very frustrating. I can barely post. I have to copy and past all of my posts.

That unexpected error isn't unexpected any more. I have to post the same thing LITERALLY 15 TIMES to get that damn thing to post.
