I'm getting a feeling that the Rams wont be able to trade this #2 overall pick. There's been way too much of a variance between teams trading up and reasons for trading up that has me to believe that because there are so many quality players, no team will want to trade up. Do you think the Rams will be able to trade it down?

Too early to tell IMO. I am going to go with no at the moment.

If the right piece falls to the right spot, AKA an affordable trade spot, then yes. I know at 5, Reggie McKennzie wouldn't be against trading back, even if it's a few spots to pick up a 3rd round pick. It just all depends. Cleveland just proved that it's drafting a QB (again) with it's recent moves to release players.

I have a surprise pick incoming in my next mock draft in mock draft central. Well. I'll just reveal it here. Several months ago I thought Tajh Boyd was a lock for a 1st rd pick, then bad things happened. But then his pro day reminded me of how highly I used to think of him.
I will be slotting Boyd to CLE at #26 overall, and giving them Watkins at #4.
I now think again that Boyd is going to go in the 1st rd.

With that being my new belief, I don't think CLE will trade up for a QB. I think OAK probably will also stay pat, they need all the depth they can get. I think the only viable options for trading are ATL and MIN as I see it right now.

The reason I think Boyd will go in the 1st rd to CLE is because I know for a fact that a few teams (probably JAX. I can see Gus Bradley comparing Boyd to Wilson. Seahawk relation) are targeting Boyd at the very top of RD2. I think CLE sees this and decides to draft Boyd with their later 1st, and ingeniously pairs him with his teammate Watkins.
Boyd would be a superstar in CLE's offense, who would have a pretty good OL, Josh Gordon, Sammy Watkins, Jordan Cameron, and probably Ben Tate as his RB.
If CLE does this in the first 2 rounds alone, tell me how awesome their offense sounds? And their defense is already legit. Playoff team *hint* *hint*

so now short QBs will be compared to Russell Wilson simply because they are both undersized?

I'm not stereotyping him though ONLY because of their height. I think they are both very similar because of that and both are pretty elusive and both are really accurate (IDK what Mayock was talking about when he said Boyd was inaccurate). Boyd went 66-67 on his pro day and his only incompletion was a drop by one of their lesser-known receivers.

Houston - Probably not Jacksonville - They're getting a QB Cleveland - That's your best shot if they want Clowney over any QB. If they just want a QB, then no. Oakland - Outside shot. They have so many needs that losing late picks would be a bad idea. Atlanta - I used to think this would happen, but after FA, trading up for Clowney seems unlikely. I still think they should, but I doubt they will Kansas City - That'd be an F- move, but you never know.
