I used to have both, but then i didnt feeling like spending 60 bucks a year for live so i sold it to my next door neighbor

X-box online has a better connection that is true.. but you also have to pay for it!
PS3 IMO has far better exclusive games.. And a far better controller. I have been a Playstation person since the beginning of it so I am semi bias. To me I would take God of War over Halo any day!

i heard live for xbox is a LOT better than live for ps3. the connection is a lot better better. a lot less lagging. heard the exact opposite...on the xbox supposedly you have a hard time connecting to servers... hahahaha, this is definitely not the case. Xbox Live's servers and maintenance and connection bandwidth is 1000x times better than PSN...you know why? Because I pay for a service that gets attention. XBL never got hacked...I feel a lot safer with XBL than I do PSN. Sony is going down altogehter IMO |

In terms of popularity....name 3 games Sony has exclusively that are GOTTA HAVE THIS GAME. Compare it to the amount of popularity on games you can get on Xbox as well as PS3. Let me put it this way, people buy entire Xbox consoles just to play Halo. No one buys a PS3 JUST to play God of War, Metal Gear Solid, or Infamous. The majority disagrees with Halo v GoW Halo > God of War In terms of Xbox v PS: Xbox: Xbox Live Parties Over 35 media outlets including but not limited to: Netflix Xfinity Youtube Facebook Hulu Last.fm Better connections Easier to manage friends and play Better interface Constant innovation PS3: Blu-ray Faster CPU (but barely) Let me put it THIs way, Microsoft continues to innovate what a "console" is. Sony continues to do the same thing. More of the same. When was the last time they decided to innovate their GUI for the PS3? It's been the same since PS2. Xbox is worth every cent that I've ever put towards it and will continue to put towards it. I'd much rather put my money into a company that is secure and innovative than a company that will get my information compromised and shitty servers. I basically threw all the arguments out there, because I knew they'd pop up in this thread eventually. |

If you did buy it used was there a piece of paper in it with a code on it? and did you get the online pass for it?? EA are assholes and have an online pass that you have to get and use for all of their games. If you buy them brand new it will always have it. If you buy it used it doesn't always have it. If you don't have the pass you can't get online. And you will need to pay 10 dollars to get a new one. Or you can cheat the system a little bit like my brother once did.. He emailed EA and said "I bought (insert game) and it didn't come with a code in it.. They sent him a code and apologized for his inconvenience |

I looked on battlefield 3's twitter and said the servers would be down from 10:00 PT - 3:00 PT Yeah they do that so you'll go buy it from them new... Lol...he can buy a ps3 and the game but can't spend 10 on an online pass?  |
