@rapsheet Bad news for #Bama OT Cyrus Kouandjio. I’m told several teams have failed him on his physical. Arthritic knee from failed surgery. “Ugly.” Who drafted this in the Mock? Already a bust Plax did right?

Sounds like the Steelers are interested in Ebron Any rumors at this point are just that...rumors. No team other than perhaps the Packers blow as much smoke as the Steelers do when it comes to the Draft.
Last year Jarvis Jones told everybody he couldn't see him falling past the Steelers. Steelers took Jones.
This year, Ebron was talking about how much Tomlin and him clicked. Not anywhere near as solid as what Jones said, but I'd keep my eye on it.

Scouts are saying Greg Robinson isn't far behind Clowney for the best player in the draft. So he's pretty much the #2 like Plax said.

The Rams should ONLY trade back from #2 if a future 1st is a part of the deal. Clowney or Robinson is just too enticing.

#2 overall is high for a guard IMO

If HOU grabs a QB #1 overall, the Rams should trade up to #3 or #5 with JAX or OAK, give their #13 overall and 2nd and 3rd.
Then grab Clowney AND Robinson.
That would be awesome.

Yeah, if the Rams trade down, the team by far most likely to trade with them are the Falcons. They traded with STL last year in the 1st and picked up Desmond Trufant, who has worked out great for them. Both teams have a friendly relationship and because that trade worked out so well for ATL last year, I think they would be more inclined to trade up for Clowney.
All that has to happen is for Clowney to do the private interviews well with ATL, and have a great combine like expected and it will probably happen. ATL would have to give their 1st, 2nd, and future 1st at the minimum.

Last year when Jarvis Jones talked, it was about like a week or so away from the Draft. I don't remember anything being said at the Combine.

Agree. What made you put Robinson above Matthews? I don't have an opinion either way. for starters, i think Matthews is a bit overrated due to the pedigree of his father. matthews was going to be in the 8-12 range last year and i am not sure if he improved his stock to warrant a top 5 pick in a better draft. robinson is stronger, a better run blocker, and has the tools to be a good pass blocker. i have never been too big of a fan of Matthews for some reason. Definitely agree with you now...you called it.
