Can't wait for Delanie Walker to dance on into the endzone against you in arrowhead this season. You're not going against Ryan Fitzpatrick this year.

But I'm not sure who the QB we'll be going against is. I guess it depends if the game is after week 5 or so, or earlier, right? Or does he even make it through camp this year?

Kansas City does actually sign players!
They've re-signed Zombo. A move I'm pretty pleased with. He's not a super star starter, but I doubt the contract was very much, and he was a very solid fill in when Hali was hurt, and is a respectable backup. Good move.

But like you said we still have a OG spot to fill, and Allen isn't the best. We also need a FS. The Kansas City Chiefs officially announced on Wednesday that the team has signed defensive back Husain Abdullah, linebacker Joe Mays and offensive lineman Jeff Linkenbach. Mays is obviously our answer for Jordan, which I'm okay with. he's set to make 2 years/6 million. But only 1.5 million is guaranteed. I guess our front office sees him as an upgrade over Jordan? I honestly don't know much about him yet. Will look into him. But I'm curious to see where and what Jordan signs for. Abdullah is a strong signing. We didn't have much left on the roster at the safety spot, and he's versatile. Very good depth player even if we draft a starter at FS. Jeff Linkenbach is a versatile OL from the Colts. Only had 1 penalty in 12 games last season, plays both Guard and Tackle. I'm thinking he'll end up being a depth guy, with either our inhouse stepping up to take the RG spot, or we'll address it through the draft. But he should be a solid, cheap swing guard/Tackle to fill that backup LG/RG/RT spot.
