I think she got her red ribbon by drinking a barrel of beer faster all but one guy. (red ribbon is second right?). Roll out the barrel, we'll have a barrel of fun.

Yeah, red is 2nd. In all fairness, my horse was 13 and a bit slower than those in my (advanced) group. All 4 in my group came in top 4. But of the 2 that did it faster, one horse tipped a barrel. My horse (Star) was amazing, and had the routine down. It was a quarterhorse, and they loooove to cut. Only horse I ever rode that required no more than a tiny hint of reins. It was like we were one. hehe But he may have been hurt too, cuz the next day he had bad saddle sore, they had to give me another horse - who was crazy. "Oh, Joey doesn't like to follow". They would only give this one to advanced riders, and only if absolutely necessary. lol The pine cone tag with low branch trees, was lucky to get out unscathed.

Not a beer drinker. But give me a barrel of wine....

P.S. Still have the VCR tape of that, IDK why.

My older sister did a little barrel racing. It's fun to watch. Good job on the red ribbon.
