MarchingOnI am gonna do a full 82 game schedule with 12min quarters. this is legit lol i ask about the todays date thing though bc it makes things more realistic heading into the draft, in which i have some dudes drafts for 2014, 2015, and 2016. and sometimes people like the person to start from the first offseason to act as if they are taking over as GM

Trade Announcement!
A trade has been struck between the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Indiana Pacers. The Pacers will be sending Forward Danny Granger and Guard Lance Stephenson to the Cavs; while they will be receiving the talent of Guard Jarrett Jack and Forward Earl Clark. The Pacers will also receive an unprotected 2015 1st round selection.
This trade makes sense for both teams in the association. The Pacers have susperstar Paul George playing the 3 and 4, and with Scola and West also taking up heavy minutes at the PF spot, Granger did not seem to fit in much. It is also believed that the Pacers were not sure if they would have the money to retain Lance Stephenson since his contract is due to expire at season's end; so being able to snag a 1st round selection on a struggling team will help them in that department. Point Guard was also believed to be a position of need for Indiana as George Hill cannot handle the entire load.
The Cavaliers, on the other hand, take this as a move to improve the team for the present and future. Danny Granger will be able to log in good minutes at the 3 and 4 as he should be able to get 25 or so minutes of action of more per night. The Cavs will have the money to retain Stephenson if they please at the end of the year; and he will get good minutes playing the 1 and 2. Rumors state that the Granger extension was a part of the deal.
All players should be able to suit up for their respective team's next game.

Cavaliers continue to improve; fall to 0-3 under Bickerstaff
Deng - 19 points, 5 rebounds Irving - 16 points, 10 assists Granger and Stephenson - 36 points, 5 assists, 5 rebounds
Bryant - 34 points Young - 23 points, 6 rebounds Kaman - 10 points, 9 rebounds
The Cavaliers played their first game of the year with Granger and Stephenson on their side of the spectrum. Both played very well in their Cavalier debut. Stephenson started the game at shooting guard and logged in 27 minutes. Granger came in off of the bench and played 17 minutes of action, and was the most productive Cavalier as he scored 20 points in that time span (and also went 9-9 at the free throw line). The Cavaliers were down for most of the game, but surged in the second half for the first time in a long time (as they usually break down in the second half). It was a close game until the end. The game was tied at 100 all with just over a minute left. However, Kobe Bryant would not let the game get away, scoring the remaining six points for the Lakers. And for the first time under Bickerstaff, the Cavs were pretty respectable on defense, allowing the Lakers to 47% shooting from the field, including 34% from downtown. Even though the Cavs lost once again, this game showed a lot in terms of what they can be if they put it together.

Haha. A crippled Kobe Bryant schooled you.
I'm enjoying this however. We'll see how that trade works out for you. I'm wondering if you'll have wanted that high draft pick coming up.
