Nice to see Steelers signed LeGarrette Blount 2yrs. 3.85 Million, that should help give some depth to the RB's.

Extending Polamalu and Miller for no additional compensation, as well as resigned Allen to a 1 year deal. Taylor taking a 1 year pay cut. Signed starting FS Mike Mitchell, slot WR Lance Moore, starting DE Cam Thomas, depth ILB Arthur Moats, depth/relief RB LeGarrette Blount. When was the last time the Steelers were this active in free agency? And the Steelers are still at the cap. Hopefully despite reports, Ben gets a long term extension, and Worilds get a new reasonable deal so they can open up more space for the rest of the season, and use Woodley's post-June money for draft picks.

I've followed the Steelers since 1968 and I've never seen them this active in free agency, they pretty much built and added depth through the draft. The only other thing I would like to see them do at least once is move up in the draft to grab one of the top prospects. Over all the Steelers have done well by doing things the way they have, remember the draft class of 1974, that was special, don't know if we will ever see that happen again.

I'll believe that when I see it. Still think he is going to be a utility backup type guy.

Steelers pre draft visits and scheduled so far. Lately the Steelers have been pretty good about drafting players they have brought in for workouts, although oddly the 1st round pick has not typically visited the Steelers in pre draft workouts. These players also typically stay on the Steelers radar years after the draft as free agent targets in the future.
It would be nice if we can keep this list updated
Minnesota safety Brock Vereen South Carolina WR Bruce Ellington Michigan State CB Darqueze Dennard Notre Dame DE Stephon Tuitt Ohio State LB Ryan Shazier Baylor RB Lache Seastrunk Mississippi WR Donte Moncrief Ohio State CB Bradley Roby Pitt State WR John Brown Pitt DT Aaron Donald
Texas DE Jackson Jeffcoat UCLA LB Anothony Barr Arizona CB Shaquille Richardson

I have a huge man-crush on him as a player.

Brock Vereen seems like a promising safety in the 3rd round. Very athletic and intelligent and was arguably thr best player on that defense (including Ra'Shede Hageman), but is a bit under the radar.
