Matthew Mulligan has agreed to a 1 year deal with the Bears. He played 21.6 percent of offensive snaps for New England last season.
Wasnt going to get a dime more than the minimum in New England, I cant imagine he got much more in Chicago. Still would have liked him back at the minimum.

It is pretty much impossible to look at a particular visit or visits and determine what the actually mean. Sometimes it is just a team has very limited knowledge on a guy and they just need to fill in some blanks. Most of the time it is to get medical clarification, and sometimes there is actual interest.
We are very well set as a team, and I do not see anyone coming in here and starting immediantly, although that doesnt mean a rookie cant get a lot of playing time. I think we could go pretty much any position, except for special teams in the first 3 rounds. A first round QB wouldnt shock me if the right guy is still on the boards, neither would a first round RB if any of these backs are viewed as a 1st round talent.
Recent reports are saying that top 10 QB needy teams are tempted to take a guy in the 2nd round, over a top QB prospect. This could set up for one of the top guys to slide down the boards. Whether or not that could lead to a top QB still being around at 29 is unknown at this point.

Not sure if I got this one already or not, but the Pats have visited with Marqise Lee.
I think receiver is probably the least likely position to be taken by the Pats in the first round( besides special teams of course ), but Lee would be a guy I would be willing to take, simply because his route running is incredible.

Dee Ford has visited.
He would be an excellent fit as a sub rusher, likely mid to late first round pick.

The Patriots have exercised LT Nate Solder's fifth-year club option for 2015.
