True. But at the very least, there shouldn't be any more of those requirements for the next WW since FA is over. If a player gets claimed off the next waiver wire, that's likely the only deal they'd get so they would accept it whatever the deal is. there WERE no requirements for the first WW, so no clue what you are talking about. Unless you mean paying their base salary, which is an actual rule in the NFL. I know that. I just wasn't sure if you planned on carrying over the reqs or not. Yeah, wasn't talking about base salary.

MarchingOn what if I want to offer Jabari Greer a little more money than you do? False answer. You won't.

MarchingOn what if I want to offer Jabari Greer a little more money than you do? False answer. You won't. It was a hypothetical. Free agency doesn't really end in the NFL so what do we do? Just do it first comes first serve for 650K amounts, or are the owed at least their previous salary?

My solution would be to send all of our offers to plax (like we did for the first WW) and maybe he could notify the bidders if two people want the same player? I will say I'm not going to resign Greer if we have to pick him up for at least their previous salary. He's going to have to be signed for less if he wants to play for the Saints again. He ain't getting 5 Mil a year.

I'm pretty sure 9mil for Jauris Byrd is the worst. Not at all. Byrd is at least a top player at his position. BDLP is an average center making an insane amount. I also considered Eric Decker and Jeremy Maclin for worst deal. Maclin deal was pretty fictitious....he's in no way deserving of that kind of money. Of course irl I want the Eagles to keep him...but not for more than a short deal...that's incentive laden.

Oakland had money to spend, a need for a possession receiver, and I wasn't going to let KC or SD take him for sure. So I paid top dollar but Eric Decker is as close a thing as there is to a FA guarnatee. WR is one of the least certain positions in the NFL Without manning...Decker would be nobody
