Watch that first video an listen to Mike Tirico. He doesn't give a fuck about Ed Reed. If the media were targeting the Steelers he'd be ALL OVER him. He barely even mentions Ward. in contrast: A similar dirty hit, although less fragrant than Ward's, gets the full media treatment that you claim the Steelers get. take your rosy glasses off. Lol less fragrant.

I'm done with this. Tired of talking about it. I get it though, I'll always put a * at the end of Patriots or call them the cheats. So whatever.

As "promptly" as possible once Jeff Fisher was out of the decision making process. lol you mean they let a player who was wanting a new contract walk? That's hardly releasing him promptly because of his biggest incident. lol It was over a year and half later btw. Finny was on a new deal before the AJ fight. They would have lost money releasing him so that wasn't going to happen. Haynesworth was suspended, benched, and nearly cut after stomping on Andre Gurode. The Titans didn't even offer Fisher renogiation at the end of his contract. They fired him outright after 17 years. Never would such punishments occur in Pittsburgh. Greg Williams got fired from New Orleans, Payton suspended a year. Belicheck got fined 500K (more than all of Harrison's fines combined) for spygate, and Mangini and McD got fired. Organizations with class punish these things in some way.

The majority of those punishments were sent from the league not the team lol.

So the Titans fired Fisher because he coached up dirty? Only took them 17 years to notice? Or mebbe they fired him because he wasn't winning. Idk

Bottom line is I don't want a soft team that shies away from dealing out some punishment when the opportunity arises and could do so legally. A team that can physically impose it's self over another typically will win the game.
Ray Lewis is supposedly the greatest linebacker to ever play the game, if not defender period. And he had his lion's share of illegal hits. They're obviously not playing all out if they don't have their occasional misfires. Of course you can't call it that way for a lot of these hits (Harrison's hit on MoMoss).

steeldevilRoger Goodell wasn't even commish until 2006 and he fined the first player fined to defend player safety was against Tyler Brayton of the Oakland Raiders. Over the seven years Goodell has been in power the Steelers are only the ninth most fined team out of 32! The fact of the matter is that the Steelers, more than any other team, are coached, designed, and committed to hurting people. Your casual dismissal of that accusation is entirely based in bias. So yeah if you mean to say that Goodell isn't really targeting you at all than you're totally right. So.. if they are only the 9th most fined team, then who are the top 8 and where is the outrage against them? For what ever reason it's always the Steelers that get's the highlights on these sort of thing but they just barely cracked the top 10 apparently.

I must say, one of the coaches that's been there awhile must be preaching for players to aim for the head.
