The Steelers surprisingly fire Kevin Bicknell Jr, after the Steelers OL had a slow with shuffling starting mere minutes into the season duo to injuries. The end of the season was a different story, even with injuries continuing the Steelers linemen willed themselves into protecting Roethlisberger and doing a measurable job better blocking for Bell. This is a group that signed Fernando Velasco a game into the season and barely lost, ultimately until his own injury in which no name UDFA Cody Wallace came in and didn't drop the momentum despite *ahem* giving several players the business, it took a chunk out his wallet against Miami but it earned a penalty in his favore a few weeks after and is play improved and likely would have earned him the main back up spot last season.
All being said the fire of Bicknell was a mistake, no ifs, ands or buts. Kelvin Colbert, Rooney's, Tomlin, who ever. they fucked this up/ No one should lose their job duo to player injuries, especially when they were successful despite them!

Whats a coah ? Thanks. Apparently my lack of sleep is catching up with me, I didn't even get an invite to the club.

Eh can't really say it's a mistake. They very well could know certain things we don't.
Possibly looking to move away from the ZBS? Maybe tomlin saw something in practice from the guy he didn't like that he thought led to some Of the OL injuries? Idk. But tomlin and Haley surely have a reason for it. Either way it's whatever to me.

This was a surprising move to me as well. The OL was really clicking towards the end of the season and they were giving Ben better protection than he has ever had his entire career. I simply think that the Steelers used Jack Bicknell as a scapegoat to appease the negative fans who wanted a change in staffing. That is the only explanation I can come up with and anything else just makes me scratch my head...
