With the 210th pick in the 2014 NFL Draft, the Indianapolis Colts select Corey Linsley C, Ohio State
Satele sucks and I was stupid not to cut him in this mock offseason. Depth guy who should develop into a very good run blocking option down the road. Good foot quickness with natural athletic traits to work well on the move. Stays light in pass protection to slide back and forth with a quick recovery step. Mobile and does a nice job at the second level with an accurate sense of his surroundings. Always keeps his head on a swivel after the snap with good awareness to pick up blitzers and slide with extra rushers. Good core strength to hold his ground, not an easy guy to move from his spot - absorbs contact well and uses his hands well to combat rushers. Good initial movement at the point of attack with quick limbs and momentum to surge into defenders. Quick hips and base to gain correct body positioning, keeping his butt low and knees bent to play with leverage. Good tenacity through the whistle and looks to eliminate his target. Veteran presence with versatile experience at guard and tackle. Tough and durable, playing through pain - started every game the past two seasons (26 straight starts) for one of the top offenses in the country. Jindred

I had no idea I had another pick with the Raiders, but it's perfect because there is one UDFA I was planning on signing. With the 212th pick in the 2014 NFL Draft, the Oakland Raiders select, Phillip Gaines, CB, Rice Let's start with this measurables: 6' 195lbs and a 4.38 40 in the mid 7th round. The best part of Gaines' game though is not what he did in shorts, it's what he did leading the Owls to win the conference USA in 2013. Gaines was the best player on an amazing secondary that shutout highpowered vertical offenses, with Gaines playing an "island" role. On top of that, Gaines is great in run support. So then why did you use many picks between two teams and not even draft him until you were pleasantly surprised with an extra pick Juggs? He has some knocks. Injuries. He lost most of his true freshman season and some of his softmore season, as well as part of his senior year. He's also not a big hitter or a great tackler, and he honestly isn't in great athletic condition for the NFL - he occasionally looked gassed on film - despite his blazing speed. All that said, Gaines will end up surprising people and making it on the field, even though he's such a late selection. He also allows me to move Champ Bailey to safety, which is a move that no one would disagree with.

With the 214th pick in the 2014 NFL Draft, the San Diego Chargers select Andrew Jackson, ILB, Western Kentucky. Depth at the LB position here. Plus he's named after a president, so that's pretty cool
