TRADE: Houston trades: 2013 2.1 pick New England trades: QB Ryan Mallet & S Adrian Wilson First off, I'm guessing you mean the 2014 2.1, because otherwise you just traded the Pats Johnathon Cyprien, who is under contract for the Jaguars. Interesting plan sabotaging a division rival. I'm surprised the trade committee allowed this plaxOn a more serious note, WTF? Is this an indiciation that Houston is trading down or not looking at a QB? Or did you just offer an excellent pick for a Wilson and a backup QB? Are you in love with Wilson? Or do you see Mallet competing with Manziel/Teddy/Bortles? This trade doesn't make sense. What's up dreday?

Ryan Mallett is a very talented QB who would have went in the first round of his own draft class if it were not for some off the field concerns. Offering a 2nd round pick is not a bad pic considering he is going to be your franchise QB. His talent level is on par with Manziel, Teddy, Bortles, but the difference is he was a able to sit back a few seasons and take notes possibly the best QB in history. On top of that, he was coached by Bill O'Brien when O'brien was in the Patriots, therefore Mallett won't have to go through learning a new offense and will be comfortable with what O'brien is teaching. And if all that doesn't work out, which I'd doubt, then we still have Jadeveon Clowney and we could easily change our minds on our QB cuz we didnt spend too much on Mallett (2nd round pick). Then we get a shot at Jameis Winston or Marcus Mariota, both better prospects than all the QBs available in this draft. Any more questions?

He already has injury concerns....limped of the feild in his last three games. My opinion...but if he's gimping in college...he'll get smoked in the NFL.

The guy would have been in contention for the best QB in this draft if he declared. Better thrower than Manziel IMO and a better runner than both. And injury concerns won't stop a team in drafting a kid this talented.
