Can we restructure contracts? that would be hard to do. at this point, i am only gonna let Jork do it for DAL, bc there is almost no way they can be in decent shape unless they do so. but it depends, so if you NEED to do it, let me know and we can discuss.

Cleveland Browns TE Gary Barnidge OLB Quentin Groves (no guaranteed salary, so no cap hit I guess?) overthecap.com/teamcap.php?Team=browns&Year=2014go to that page. there you will find how much you can save from releasing particular players. the numbers that are in "()" means you would LOSE money, not gain it. If I'm saving less than a million for cutting Barnidge, I'll keep him and cut Jason Campbell instead

If I'm saving less than a million for cutting Barnidge, I'll keep him and cut Jason Campbell instead yeah, that is what i figured. i saw Campbell and Greco as potential release guys for you (but I think Greco is decent enough to keep). so you are fine with Campbell and Groves? you know what you get from releasing them and everything right?

I don't understand how you are calculating how much money someone saves when they cut a player.

I don't understand how you are calculating how much money someone saves when they cut a player. i understand it somewhat, but this site: overthecap.com/nfl-salary-cap/shows you how much you could save for releasing a player. EXAMPLE: overthecap.com/teamcap.php?Team=Rams&Year=2013If you trade or release Kendall Langford, you would save 3,000,000 If you trade or release Cortland Finnegan, you would LOSE 3,000,000 (numbers in '()' means you lose money, not gain) If you trade or release Sam Bradford, you would LOSE 6,190,000 If you trade or release Scott Wells, you would LOSE 2,000,000 So this brings up something for EVERYONE. When having a player on the trade block, it is the same system. If you trade a player who has a "()" around his name for CAP savings, you would LOSE that money for letting go of that player.

How in the world can you lose money for cutting a player? signing bonus and guaranteed money. for example, if you draft a rookie, their contract is fully guaranteed. so if you release them, you lose money. Finnegan and Bradford got a BOATLOAD of guaranteed money, so i assume the Rams did not pay a lot of it back yet.
