I'm usually not big on buying digital copies either, but I did it thinking I was getting it early.
I've been cracking out on it since I got it. I usually wait 2-3 years in between games because I'm not too much of a baseball fan like I am with football. As for the gameplay, though, there's really not much difference from the last one I played. It's still a damn great game, but you can tell the potential for it on the PS3 version was tapped out. I'm sure the PS4 version is better.

Great game but its not like its head and heals better than the PS3 version.

I figured there wouldn't be too much difference in the gameplay. They've already done a great job with damn near every aspect of the game, so there's not much more they can possibly do to improve on that. Graphics, though, I definitely knew would be improved.

Either of you guys have a fuck of a time hitting in Franchise? I am a good hitter in RTTS.. but when it comes to franchise modes every single hit I get is either a single, or into the glove of the opposing team.. and God forbid I get a hit with runners in scoring position..

HRs are supposed to be rare lol. I would assume that the league average is round 0.75 HRs per game, giving a team 120 or so HRs per season as a team. I am a Yankees fan, so I would hit more home runs than most due to many players with good hit power.

I just can't hit anything into the gap.. I have played 3 games so far in my franchise and have scored one run and that was off an error. I just can't get hits right now and I am kinda losing my mind lol.

I have always played the standard mode they give you, and I am playing MLB right now and will probably do a new franchise on a harder mode. I have hit balls into the gap on occasions. Singles will always be the majority of hits you get.

I know that singles are the vast majority of hits I will get.. The problem is being that even those are coming few and far in between.. Can't hit any gaps whether its in the infield or outfield. Pretty much every hit is going into the other teams glove.. Maybe I just have to get used to my batters swings, as I am used to RTTS guy.. Do you use CPU controlled base running or do you control it yourself?

When you go to gameplay options, what do you have set for Hitting Interface (under Batting & Base Running)?
