MarchingOnyeah, the OL has been a wreck. Snee is declining. Diehl is almost worthless. Baas has been terrible. Boothe has only proven to be a good fill-in guy with versatility. Beatty has had a terrible year - hopefully he picks it up so we don't lose big on that contract. Pugh has been very good though. I am happy with him. My master plan is drafting a LT in the 1st (Kouandjio and Erving look like possibilities). I know paying a RT 8mil/year is terrible, but I care about protecting Eli. There is no getting out of Beatty's contract now. So why risk the health and productivity of our QB? So I say draft Kouandjio or Erving with the 1st round pick, which moves Beatty to RT and Pugh to RG. Beatty should be good on the right side, and Pugh should be even better in the middle. Then we should get Jon Asomoah from KC in FA. He will want like 7mil a year almost, but he is worth it - dude is a great player. Then we can get a C in FA or a guy like Stork in the draft. That would give us Kouandjio/Erving, Pugh, FA/Stork, Asomoah, Beatty. Suddenly, our OL is fixed. Even if that plan came to fruition, it may take them a year to really get it going. I'll use this example again, look at Tennessee's OL. Mike Roos - Andy Levitre - Brian Schwenke - Chance Warmack - David Stewart That's a top 5 OL on paper, but then you watch the Titans and you find out they haven't been that good. They are an ultra talented, but young and inexperienced group. I will never expect a brand new OL to come in and dominate after watching Tennessee this year. Michigan as well. Lewan and RT Mike Schofield are great/good, but every interior player was new this year. All mega talented freshman, but it was still a mess. Offensive lines need time to gel and create synergy with each other, and trust me, it does take time. That is still a good idea for the Giants to do, but I'm just saying I wouldn't expect them to be good in the first year together.

I kind of watched Diehl because I had heard you talk about him. He did get pushed around a lot.

Very good Breakdown Plax. I cringed at the thought of reading your Manning breakdown, but it was very unbiased. Running game needs to be addressed first and foremost imo.

I think the running game will be okay. Brown is doing great right now, and if the OL can run block the way they are now for David Wilson when he comes back next year, we should be fine there. We need OL and defensive playmakers in the draft. And a WR depending on what happens with Nicks.

Doctors have recommended that Jason Pierre-Paul be shut down for the remainder of the year. OC Kevin Gilbride feels confident that he will return next year ( )

Victor Cruz underwent arthroscopic surgery on Thursday, but Coach Tom Coughlin expects him to be ready for the offseason program.
For those confused why Cruz had this surgery, it was because Eli almost killed him by throwing a high ball and Cruz hit the ground very hard.
Cruz will end the season with 998 receiving yards, 2 yards short of having 3 straight campaigns with 1000+.

will not be ready for the start of next season. where did you hear that? i heard that he isn't sure IF he will be ready. did not hear anything confirming his status, as no one even knows how he will recover. but the situation is an unfortunate one. i think the giants will go with a RB in FA or in the draft, and ease Wilson back into it. i also heard that the Giants want Andre Brown back.
