According to Hoopshype.com, the Cleveland Cavaliers have been shopping SG Dion Waiters. They have spoken with the Knicks, Bulls, and 76ers. Their targets are SG Iman Shumpert from New York, SF Luol Deng from Chicago, and SF Evan Turner from Philadelphia. plax What do you think of this?

I hope we don't trade him, but I will tell you what I would think of the other three offers:
Deng: Expiring contract - not even a guarantee that we keep him. Not worth it. Turner: Again, expiring contract and not guaranteed to keep him. Not to mention we would probably have to give more. Shumpert: I like him, but not sure if he is a good fit here.
===
Waiters is a great player, and they need to make him the ball handler and let Kyrie go off-the-ball.

If that is the case, then Evan Turner would be the perfect fit for Cleveland. Turner is best when he has the ball in his hands and can play some point/forward. As the #1 option this year, Turner has been VERY consistent scoring. He would be the ball handler that Waiters isn't. I think a straight up trade of Turner for Waiters would be a good deal. The 76ers would probably do it as well as they don't want to spend the $10 Million a year to keep him.

cityofchampsI think you misunderstood. Waiters SHOULD be the on handling the PG duties and being on the ball. He sees the floor much better than Irving does, and Irving is a much better off the ball player. Turner needs the ball to make things happen, so he would be a bad fit with KI right now unless KI picks it up and plays more like a PG. PHI would want more than just Waiters, anyway.
