Jancey - Why do you have to be there at 6:00 PM? Why can't you just go any time during this day and get the deal? Because the sale is at 6:00 PM on Thanksgiving night. If I went the next day, or later that night, the games will all be gone. Is it like that for Black Friday across the nation? The sale is only at a certain time?

They're the "Doorbuster" sales. Unfortunately the stores would rather force people to go out on an early, early morning on Friday and stand in the freezing cold just to fight over each other to get the actual "deal". In most cases, yeah it's a great deal money wise, but is it really a deal when you put in YOUR time and effort to get it and you don't get anything?
The insanity has been extended to the night before in the last couple years, so now they kick it off on Thursday night, so their store can be "first", which is really stupid, because how early is early enough? The stores are gonna get their money. People don't ONLY go XMAS shopping on those days alone.
What SHOULD happen is that the stores should extend whatever deals they are having for those two days for two weeks instead. That would allow people to have their holiday and still be able to get out and do their XMAS shopping and the stores would still get the $$$. They could even get more than what they would get in those two days because if the sales ran for two weeks, there would be more people able to get in and get what they're looking for.
It really sucks for the store workers also, since they're the ones that have to be there at those ridiculous times. I really don't wanna see any more of the "person gets crushed at store" or "fights over stuff" news stories. The stores have to know that kinda stuff might happen, and they should know better than to create that sort of environment.
If there weren't so many negatives I would love to look into getting some of the deals I've been seeing. I'm just not sure I really wanna have to live such a negative experience while I'm trying to get something like that. It just feels wrong that the stores would do this to people.

I never understand some stores.. To try and get more business they drop their prices. Why not just change the day??
Every big store in America puts their sales on Friday. All you have to do is change your sales from Friday to Saturday and BAM! Everyone goes to your store.

Well...my mom works at walmart...so she's gonna pull some games for me. So the question is......Madden 25 or NCAA 14? I'm getting TLOU and Tomb Raider for sure. Then I need to decide between NCAA 14 and Madden 25. I'll probably get AC3 and Dishonored as well.

Btw.. This is a random thought, but what will EA sports name Madden when it's the year 2025? Do they still name it Madden 25?
