The best defense in the league vs. the best offense in the league. Things that make you go....hmmmm.
I've got this dilemma in a few leagues this week. One league, I've also got ARI vs.JAX, who I will be starting over KC's D.
The other league, well, not so sure about. Have KC's D, but added NE's D vs. CAR(not a scary offensive unit)and "considering" giving them the nod over KC's D this week. However, Peyton HAS been turning the ball over the past few games, AND has the ankle injury to deal with. He may not be able to get out of the way in time of pass rushers, and also may have trouble with his footwork which could affect his mechanics. Could lead to a high number of turnovers, which is not the best of scenarios against a KC defense that makes the most of turnovers. Nevertheless, KC's offense doesn't score many points, and the Defense has had it's struggles vs. the run. DEN "could/should" have a much higher run ratio this week compared to the pass. Aghhh, which way to go....which way to go

Thats up for debate. I say Seattle's D is better. I love trolling. Chad would be proud.

Nateball mentioned a couple days ago in his Pro Bowl thread that we didn't have a Dolphin contingent here. Made me sad we didn't invite Chad81. How bad could that have been? To the OP, I won't start an opposing DEF at Mile High. DEN & NE both off a bye, NE on the road, mediocre DEF to start with. So, it's a wash, flip a coin. lol

Yeah Bev...The only players I would start against Seattle would be Peterson and Calvin. Thats it.

Jeff- I was speaking from a FF perspective standpoint. KC's D/ST has far more FF points than SEA. I agree that SEA probably has the better D.
Bev- Good point. I didn't even take that part of it into consideration. Mile High is a real dis-advantage to any defense.

Maybe it's just me, but I do think KC's D is better than SEA's.

It's certainly up for debate. But imo, their defense has more responsibility than others because they have to make up for the lack of offense. It just adds more pressure, as well as fatigue, but the Chiefs D never budges even one bit.

I've decided to scratch both KC & NE D's this week. I'm going with what I think is a "safer" bet in BUF D vs. NYJ @ BUF.

Definitely safer IMO, I would take that. You might get 7 - 10 pts at worst in a standard league IMO, maybe quite a bit more. But it's safe, they shouldn't stiff you.
