Well, the last poll surprised me a bit with Julio winning by almost 10 votes over Roddy. And on NFL Network it asked who would have the better season: Julio or AJ? And they both said Julio...Green's the only viable WR for Dalton, but I guess that means he'll be drawing double coverage, while Julio might not because of Roddy and Gonzo. But I think Gonzo and Roddy hurt Julio's stats more than help him. My vote is AJ Green.

I voted Jones, defenses will be focusing too much on Green, defenses will focus on White more than Jones

julio jones but it wont be by much at all
jones will emerge as the #1 WR for the falcons halfway through the year. roddy white is starting to slow down completely
a.j green is gonna be fine. hes gonna have a better year i think, and double coverage wont solve a thing because he can still jump out there and grab it
but at the end of the day, its whos throwing to you, and matt ryan is a WAY better QB than andy dalton

Lol wtf... How does Julio get blown out in the poll results vs AJ Green, but Julio wins the voting against Roddy White.
Makes 0 sense.

Makes 0 sense. not really....... jones is gonna be the #1 target halfway during the season for the falcons. if not that, by the end of the year. roddy white is starting to fade green is gonna be better than jones, but from a numbers stand point, not this season IMO. jones has the better by default of a better QB

[quote green is gonna be better than jones [/quote]
I don't know about that, Bengal. I think it's too early to tell. I think Jones needs to "diversify his portfolio" , if you will, but he's got mad potential; taking nothing away from Green, who I think can be dangerous anywhere on the field already,

AJ Green is very slightly better than Jones imo, but stats wise Jones will put up better numbers than Greens because White and Gonzales will take away some defenders from himself. Green has no one on the other side as a threat, although their TE is good though.

But I think Gonzo and Roddy hurt Julio's stats more than help him. My vote is AJ Green. I don't think it works that way. You got Roddy, Gonzo, both highly capable, dangerous, reliable targets - and just enough Harry Douglas to keep a defense guessing. With an aging Turner, who was never much of a receiving RB to begin with, JJ is in an uncrowded, but balanced backfield. The ball is spread around enough to not be able to double-cover anyone without another big threat getting open. That is much different than a barren backfield. With BJGE having caught just 26 balls in his 4-year 53 game career, and with Simpson gone, Gresham is the only other threat on the team, and he ain't Gonzo. Bottom line, Ryan > Dalton, and there is plenty of ball to go around. I'm kinda shocked it was 11-4 before I voted (obviously for JJ).
