[2] From what I know, the Rams have far bigger needs on the OL and in the secondary (FS, specifically). Would not surprise me for the Rams to build their front seven, however.
[5] If Jadevean Clowney or Anthony Barr is not available for Atlanta, and if Jake Matthews is there, he is the pick.
[7] I have seen a lot of people mock Sammy Watkins to TB, and it confuses me. They already have Vincent Jackson and Mike Williams locked under expensive deals. I think they would rather Jace Amaro there, if anything, so at least they have more options to work with on option in terms of formations.
[11] While the Giants do need offensive line, if they do it in the first round, it is drafting an offensive tackle and moving Pugh to guard. Yankey is not the player Cooper or Warmack was last year, and no way he goes this high. From what is available, Lewan, Evans, and Dennard are options.
[12] I am now on board with PIT not needing an offensive tackle this early in the draft, so Lewan should be a no-go for PIT. They have similar problems as the Giants with the offensive line and the secondary. Steelers would probably look at Dennard, Evans, or Nix from what is there I would assume.
[16] Do not understand this pick. We all know my view on Dennard, but do not get it for Dallas. They need safety help, and with being stuck with Claiborne and the expensive contract of Carr, they need to look elsewhere. They need almost everything on defense minus CB and ILB. They would probably rather go Dix, who you seem to not have here in the first round.
[18] Not sure how Nix would fit in Chicago's system. How effective can he be in a 4-3 scheme? I think Hageman is a much better choice, especially when pairing his ability with that of Melton. You don't have Hageman in the first either?
[23] Personally cannot see Cleveland passing on Adams if he is available there.
[25] Speaking of Adams, why would the Cardinals pick him? They have Fitzgerald and Michael Floyd, not to mention an underrated Andre Roberts? If they are going offensive weapons, they would go TE.
[26] From what I know, NE needs interior OL, not tackle. They have Solder and Vollmer, and isn't Cannon an OT for them who has been good in reserve? I think NE has to look at getting the replacement for Wilfork or Spikes.
I am not sure who you have dropping to the second round, so cannot say much more about who should have gone towards the end of the 1st round.
